Pizza is great if you pick up and catch them when they’re slow; but the past two times I’ve ordered delivery I’ve been told 25-30 minutes and when you call an hour later they’ll tell you it’ll be 25-30 minutes. They’ll have you waiting two hours for a pizza while telling you it’ll be a quarter of that and there’s really nothing you can do. If you offer to pick it up they’ll say 25-30 minutes. They don’t even cook your pizza until the delivery times clear up but they don’t tell you that on the phone you’re just stuck which is really a shame if you have plans or company. Good food but really unfair service.

We are new to the area and I had a big order for my family. I walked in and was immediately welcomed by Johnny. Gave my order and was ready in no time. They even brought our big order out to my car. That is customer satisfaction. Food was amazing and delicious and our family loved every bite. Thank you Johnny. We will be back.

First strike, I personally ordered pizza and a salad about 6 months ago, both were not good. My fiancé and I have not ordered there since. Now I have gotten pizza from there through a third party, it was always good and never bothered me when it was through the third party. But this is the second strike when I have ordered, and I have only ordered twice personally, so they are batting 1000%. The buffalo chicken cheesesteak was burnt, dry, and over cooked. As well as the plain cheeseburger being dry, over cooked, and slightly burnt. In comparison, I would rate Johnnie’s Restaurant & Pizza’s “Cheeseburger”, sub par to the local gas station Penn Jersey’s cheeseburgers, and that gas station burgers sit underneath a heating lamp for a while before being sold. Whether or not Johnnie’s is making fresh food is not my problem, because I will personally not be ordering from there again. As for customer service when I walked in, I said my name and was given my order. I paid and was told to have a good night.

Held our family Christmas dinner here. None of us have ever been here, but we all said, “wow”. Food was amazing! REAL Italian! Fast and very cheerful service. Huge menu so they had dinners for everyone – even special diets and picky eaters. Will definitely return. Johnnie clearly takes pride in his work and has great reason to do so; he really cares about customers. 5 star food in Bangor!

Today was my first time at Johnnies restaurant and it definitely won’t be my last. The workers are so nice and personable, the service is fast and they newly renovated the inside and it looks beautiful. They have an array of foods from pizzas to cheesesteaks and fries and even pasta and seafood dishes. My family and I got to taste a little bit of everything and it was phenomenal! The owner and his wife are so nice and came up to talk to us to make sure we are enjoying our meals. Wish I could rate more than 5 stars!!!!
