This Johnnie’s is along N May Avenue just north of the Kilpatrick Turnpike. There is a fair sized indoor seating area as well as around 10 pull in order spots for take-away orders. Burgers are reasonably priced and prepared to order in around 5-6 minutes. They taste pretty much as expected, good old-fashioned, homemade burgers.

Decent burger. Didn’t taste fresh but it wasn’t bad. Fries were awesome. Got shredded cheese and they don’t skimp.

Not sure if new manager’s or what. It is so much like the years before. EVERYTHING was GREAT. Hamburgers are thicker. A little too done. But excellent flavor. And onion rings. 10stars To go order for 2 adults and 4 small picky girls. Ages 2-11. All. And I mean ALL of our orders were correct. Thank you for being close to our house. See ya soon

The burgers are good. The price is reasonable for a burger, but higher than other fast food. There are no combo meals. Three burgers and one large order of fries was just under $32. No drinks. The fries are big enough to share. The burgers are single; two had added cheese, one had bacon. $1.00 per added item ($3.00 total extra).

We got to try johnnies tonight since we had a gift card,I got a burger with johnnies sauce definitely didn’t taste good the bbq had like an old weird taste, the burger would’ve been good without it,onion rings were cooked a little to much so it was an old crunchy texture.Staff are respectful to people and clean the lobby well, just maybe a little to much inappropriate talk with lots of cuss words that some might not necessarily enjoy while in a family dining restaurant.

This was my 1st visit (and likely my only visit) to Johnnie’s Charcoal Broiler. I did not like anything that I ordered. The onion rings tasted like straight flour, no seasonings, very bland. The root beer didn’t taste like root beer at all and the burger was gross. I ended up throwing it all away without finishing any of it. Very disappointing experience. I will say the drive thru worker was polite.

Delicious and authentic American delicacies packed with great flavors. From the dining, the drinks, the taste of everything, the cleanliness topped with great service. Totally worth the drive.

Why, why, why, do I keep going through their drive throughs. It doesn’t matter which store I go to they always get my order wrong. When I try to call to correct the order my phone call is never put through. I’m sick of it, I’m over it, I will never eat at Johnny’s again which is very unfortunate because I do like their food, when I actually receive it.

I used to love Johnny’s. I got the protein plate today. A grilled chicken breast with cottage cheese and tomatoes. The grilled chicken breast was a frozen peice of meat with the grill lines on it before heating up a frozen patty. Very disappointing. It has been quite a few years since I’ve been to Johnny’s. Very disappointing today. To the franchise owners…Cheap isn’t the best way to go !!!

Johnnies is always great! I love love the fries but I had Onion rings. They could have been much crispier but still great flavor.
