Walked in and the Restaurant was very clean and the staff was very friendly!!! Now, this don’t make no sense!!! The food was Awesome!!! I had the Lunch Portion Baked Chicken on Rice, Yams and Sweet Corn. Tried picking the leg up to eat it and the meat fell off the bone. The Yams and Sweet Corn were on point!!! The portions are are nice! Got the Peach Cobbler and took 1 bite and put the lid back on. That Peach Cobbler came back to Mansfield, TX with me!!! Johnae’s is definitely a must stop in Dickinson, TX!!!

Every single thing was amazing! Cooked perfectly, delicious and full of flavor (duh), and service was great. My only two regrets: 1) we didn’t try it sooner, 2) I didn’t stop stuffing myself and now I have to sit through meetings all afternoon and try not to nap.

This place is the bomb! Food is sooo good! There was a line but the line moved very quickly. I got the fried chicken with Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes. Let me tell y’all something!!!! Everything is so good. I will definitely be returning. The atmosphere was such a cool and calming atmosphere as well. I felt at home here. Good food and a good atmosphere!

The entire family enjoyed their meals. The atmosphere was upbeat, and the staff was extremely friendly. She assisted us in making decisions and narrowed down my options for a flight of cold drinks. And everything was delicious. Many Thanks for such a nice and quick service.

Today, at lunch was my 1st time to visit Johnae’s. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in. I got a plate to go of Oxtails, Greens, and Black Eyed Peas with Cornbread and a brownie. The food was phenominal!!!!! I had coworkers try it and they had the same wonderful reaction that I did. The portions were such that I can enjoy this wonderful meals for lunch the next 3 days. Go by and try this place. You can taste the love they put into their cooking.

Food is absolutely delicious! Oxtail is not to be missed! Smothered porkchops were also amazing. The amount of food they give you as a serving size is giant! Could feed 2 people per serving, easily.

Johnae’s catered our company today and I can’t begin to tell you how delicious this food was. It’s hard to please 100 people with no complaints but today with her food everyone was complimenting it. The presentation, individual containers, how she brought the individual plates in hot pans to keep them warm while she got there. No matter what you eat… make sure to eat the cornbread!!! She made me look like a hero today! Thanks Johnae and team! Can’t wait until next time!
