Otw home from our road trip. We decided to try a local spot that was highly rated. Not quite sure how they got those ratings. Eggs and steak; steak was tough and flavorless. Farmer’s skillet; the portion was very generous but it did not come on a skillet. They must have prepared it with a skillet in the kitchen but the dish was very salty and greasy. The mini hot cakes were one of the better dishes. But I wish they didn’t smother all that butter all over all the pancakes. I prefer the butter on the side.

This small town little restaurant was amazing! Wonderful service and great food with huge portions and good prices!! We were traveling through NY and came up in this small town right at breakfast time, so glad we stopped.

I felt bad as I ended up having to go as they were bringing my meal out. I had taken my dog to the vet that was only a short walk from the restaurant. They were very understanding and gave me a tin pie plate to fit my Philly cheesesteak sandwich and fries in and a separate container to put my cole slaw(had pineapple chunks in which i thought was weird at first but I actually enjoyed it and ate every last bite)in even gave me plastic utensils. The food was absolutely fantastic and I will be sure to visit again next time I’m up thar way. The pies looked amazing. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to try a piece. The price was reasonable and the service was excellent. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family that are looking for a good meal when in the area. Thank you.

This was the BEST BREAKFAST I have ever had at any restaurant. This breakfast was better than any popular breakfast food chains hands down. Wherever you are come here for breakfast! The options were plentiful and the portions were more than generous. We had the omelets, pancakes, and corned beef hash. All of them were VERY DELICIOUS. The pancakes were massive, we shared them and still had to take them home. The omelets were amazing and large. I had the farmer’s omelet and I would definitely get it again. My kid loved the corned beef hash. I liked it as well and I really liked how crispy they got it. Coffee was great as well. Everything we had was great and the service was excellent and friendly. Wish we would have found this place sooner so we could have gone there every morning we were in the area for breakfast. They had a lot of specials which I’d definitely like to try the Lumber Jack Breakfast with the grilled prime Rib! Sounds amazing!

I stopped into this lovely local family restaurant for a nice breakfast before spending all day out birding the area around Silver Lake for the Letchworth-Silver Lake Christmas Bird Count, and it hit the spot! Quaint and clean with only about a dozen tables and a single cheery and helpful server. I ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits and a breakfast sandwich. The gravy and biscuits tasted different than what I’m used to, but were very good. The breakfast sandwich was also well done. The grilled hard roll had a nice crunch rim with a sausage patty, fried egg, and cheese in between. There was also a nice tower of shelving directly inside the front door selling local products including candies and syrups. I bought a chocolate covered cherry cluster.

GIGANTIC portions!!! Delish. We had about a 10 minute wait Sunday morning brunch but were seated to a nice, clean spot. The service was prompt and pleasant. Accommodated our individual orders and had nice sized to-go boxes to handle all the leftovers. Super filling and creative breakfast food options.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and nothing is better than Homemade food. John & Sarah’s was amazing and Homemade food at it’s finest. Menu was great and had amazing specials. But what really put them over the edge,, was their Homemade pies. I order one for dessert and two to go.. Staff was great as well. Definitely planning on going back again soon.

I ordered a chicken finger sub, which was messy, but I didn’t care. It was delicious!! Mom ordered their chicken and biscuits, and it was a HUGE serving! I tasted a bite, and it was so good! Their prices are good, too.
