Great place to stop for lunch when on the slops. Typically less packed than the other lodges. There can still be a 20 minute wait for food during the lunch rush hour, so best to plan for an early or late meal.

Amazing chicken schnitzel and waffles with sausage gravy. Beautiful spot. Always lots of seating. Best lodge even if the clouds don’t clear.

This is the best lodge at snowbasin! Perfect views of the mountains no matter the weather. It may not show up to you at first, but there is an elevator if you want to be able to get downstairs without having to clomp down the stairs in ski boots. However, if you do decide to get food here, the prices are like $15-20 for one meal, and about $6 for a drink or cookie.

Perfect stop near the top of Snowbasin! Watch the tram take skiers to the top while sitting on the sun deck protects the from the wind by the wrap around glass railing. Incredible views of the mountainside with great food and drinks right inside. Waffles are a must have. Free ice water too!

A beautiful and tranquil place to take a break from the mountain. The lodge is so elegant and spacious that it doesn’t feel like a ski lodge. Nice restrooms and good food choices. Free water station. It was very convenient and I loved the time I spent there.

Great food, beautiful views, friendly staff. Lodge is roomy with lots of seating and comfy atmosphere. Large private bathrooms. Lost my phone inside and luckily a cashier kept it safe for me until I came looking for it.

No warm food service. Late season, but great snacks and views

The views and fireplace are why you go to John Paul Lodge, but the food is pretty good as well. Chili was good and the chicken schnitzel was good as well. Fries were cooked right and crispy. Prices are expensive as you would assume for a top of mountain lodge. $15-$20 for a sandwich. Recommend to go for the view.

You can’t beat the views from JP Lodge and there is plenty of room to sit down and relax. Nothing beats lunch on their patio. Picture is from the top of the Olympic lift by the men’s downhill.
