Joey D’s in Venice is our go to place for some great pizza, salad, subs and more… We love coming here because it’s always nice and clean, spacious, great service and great food. We have tried their deep dish pizza, regular pizza, gyros, cheesesteak, fries, salads, chips and fried pickles and it’s all great. Their menu is jam packed with a variety of different plates, subs, pasta, salads, appetizers, drinks etc… If you like sports they are chock-full of sports memorabilia. They have live sports playing throughout the restaurant on a ton of flatscreens. They have a fully-stocked bar area with bar seating and everyone is adequately spaced out. The booths are large and there’s plenty of room inside for a large family or party dining. There is also outdoor dining area, to the right of the front entrance, with tables and booths available. Plenty of parking outside on the side of the restaurant and in front of the restaurant. They are located right next to and south of Legacy Trail and on the east side of the 41.

If you are from the Chicago area you are familiar with Portillo’s, this place BLOWS THEM OUT OF THE WATER! Question for the owners… When will you be expanding to the Chicago area? My mom ordered the Chief and I had the cheese steak. They were both mind blowing, out of this world! I can’t believe I came all the way to FL to eat the best Chicago style food in forever. Wondering if I can get the cheese steak delivered straight to my mouth daily when I get back home?

Didn’t get a chance to take a picture before the pizza was half gone absolutely delicious pizza. The sicilian crust was so fluffy and tasty. Ask for some garlic butter you won’t be disappointed. We had the cheese curds, & a pepperoni, mushroom pizza. We will be back to try more food! They should expand to Tampa!!

Best wings ever. I ordered them crispy and wet they were perfection. Crispy fries with cheese sauce. Me and mom could not stop talking about how good they were. Have eaten at Bee Ridge location and Venice location both were great. Service is top notch at both locations. Must try them

My sweetie wanted a Chicago deep dish pizza, we found Joey D’s and went. Not busy when we went, were greeted and sat immediately, got our drinks and ordered. We were not rushed at all, food came out hot, fresh tasting, pizza was wonderful, my Chicago beef sandwich was awesome and really good fries. Plenty of food, good prices, we’ll be back!

Chicago dogs were great. We go there often and are never disappointed. We also had them cater several events. They did great!

Joey D’s never fails to offer good food brought out while still hot. Highly recommend their luncheon specials. I try to frequent Joey D’s once a week. They do a fine job. Mike + Brandi are super Bartenders. This is a two item deep dish Tuesday special. I went pepperoni and sausage. I tried their Sicillian pizza with pepperoni and sausage. I enjoy their deep dish pizza more. This is another great restaurant with a wide variety of delicious options
