Authentic Mexican taqueria located in the back of Joe’s meat market. Countertop service. Tacos, tortas and specials. Eat inside or order to go. Ordered two taco plates. One Al pastor and one carnitas. Meats were tender and flavorful. Excellent rice and beans. Prices were great. Everything was fresh. Don’t let the decor fool you. This place is the real deal. Owner was on site and very friendly. Highly recommended.

This is hands down the best taqueria in Texas, no lie! I almost cried while eating, from the food reminding me so much of my mother’s homemade Hispanic cooking. I would almost dare even say, that it beat her cooking, but I wouldn’t want her to find out that I said that!
