At first glance… Joe’s Place seemed like any other small town dive bar. That is…until I tried the daily special… The prime rib burger!

I am ashamed to admit that today was my first experience at Joe’s Place, despite only living a two miles away. I got a hot pork sandwich to go and it was amazing. The gravy is out of this world good. I will be back!

since new ownership the service has really been horrible. Tonight was horrible, the waitress had no clue what she was doing. We had to ask for menus, coffee three times and they never brought all of the food out until we asked for it. I had the taco bar and it was as bland as hospital food, I think they forgot to season the meat. They earned two star because my company thought there fried food was good. Be awhile before I go back if ever again.

Great food and salad bar. Great service. The salads are all homemade in the kitchen. Steak was fabulous. Under new management since January. Chef comes out and mingles with customers checking to see if everyone is satisfied . Definitely going back.

Been going to Joe’s for years. New ownership, but same great service. Got served “the last” pc. of prime rib they had tonight, which WAS NOT great. It happens right? Showed up late anyhow. Waitress could tell I wasn’t very happy. Offered to take it off the bill. I was more than happy with that. Than 5 min later she brought me out a ribeye free of charge! Did not expect that, very solid. took great care of me. Still the best prime rib and salad bar I can think of in town. I’ll keep coming back!

It has changed alot since it was sold. Not likely to go here again or at least not as often as we used to. Prices went up, quality seems to have gone down and you pay for everything. No fries with a burger, unless you pay up, no cheese on a burger, unless you pay up. Days of a basket at a good value are over. On a positive note, the staff is always friendly and food is usually fairly quick to be brought out.

The food was really good. I had the smothered chicken and my friend had the Club sandwich. The chicken smothered with cheese, onions and mushrooms. So good. And the club sandwich was huge. The meat was chunks of ham and turkey, not sliced deli meats. We both have lunch for tomorrow. Our waitress was delightful. The only downside – the glass of wine was not very good. It tasted like vinegar. But our waitress took it off the bill. We will return.

Very good food. Sat on the dining room side instead of the bar with my family. Rowdy group eating the night we were there. They were definitely enjoying their drinks! They weren’t a problem though. We still had a good time. Owner came to the table to find out how dinner was. That was a great gesture on his part!

I’ve always had good food but last night we spent 85$ there and now I’m home with major food poisoning. The fried pickles we’re burnt, fried shrimp was raw, hamburger was made wrong had cheese after we insisted no cheese due to our daughter’s allergies, the other burger was raw in the middle, fries were cold, mushrooms we’re doughy and not fried all the way through. We called right away since our order was to go and the bar manager was extremely rude. Stating they was closed and I needed to call back the next day. She told me that it’s not their fault the food wasn’t cooked we ordered too late and they were closing. Really 630 was too late and closing at 9 hmm. Ok… We won’t be back. Very dissatisfied and disappointed

A cute little restaurant with a good variety of meals. I got Tilapia when I went, and it was REALLY good. It was a pretty big piece and wasn’t too expensive considering the size. If you are a fan of Tilapia I recommend you give it a try. My only complaints is that their “salad bar” isn’t very big, its basically just lettuce and sauces with croutons. The wings appetizers also aren’t very good, and very tiny. And our waitress never really came to check on us, but it really depends on who you get when you go there. Otherwise it’s a cute little place you can go when you just wanna go out someday.
