We heard great things about the pasties at Joe’s Pasty Shop and had to try them. Delicious. The crust was perfect and not soggy. Filled with potatoes and meet and smothered in brown gravy.

Very authentic pasties (I was born in Butte and my mother used to make them for dinner at times.) That being said, they’re not a strong favorite of mine, as they can be on the dry side. The gravy is quite thick.

Great to see the place open again. The new owner is keeping the old feel of the place and the original recipe of Joe’s pasties we all have come to know and love.
