What a cool little joint. The service was great and a cool atmosphere. Highly recommend the Detroit style coneys. They were delicious! My wife got the club sandwich which was HUGE. She really enjoyed it. Not a ton of tables so you might sit with strangers not a big deal. 10/10

If I could give 10 stars I would! FANTASTIC customer service! I was questioning the Flint style coney because it’s what I grew up eating. I didn’t order it though because I thought it would be sort of a disappointment. (NO offense to the restaurant)(WAIT FOR THE END before scrolling) I ordered a cheeseburger and chili cheese fries, also a side of fries just to be able to taste their fries alone. It was cooked perfectly how I ordered and tasted better than perfect. (If that’s a thing).

Came here three separate times during a stay at Houghton Lake. Everyone who works here is friendly, and the food was consistently great. I’m still shocked at the size of their home made cinnamon toast.

Coney was good. Koegel dogs (I’m not a huge fan of snappy hot dogs, but the sauce was good.) Service was great. Atmosphere… crowded but tolerable. Owner? was kinda manic running around, calling to customers from across the room, loud. She was nice but, needs to turn it down a couple notches.

Food has been great both times we went. I had a gyro and the tzatziki sauce on it was so amazing. The waitress was great as well. I do think they could use an update on decor and somehow advertise that it’s not just coneys that they sell. We went on a whim and we were surprised because I thought they that’s all they sold.

We loved the Coney dog and Frankie dog! The problem is we spent $4 for a pitifully small amount of fries! They need to step up and give consumers a reasonable amount of fries for $4! Hench the 3 stars! Do better for your customers!

Sat and waited for over 10 minutes without receiving my beverage or a menu before I walked out and left. Only 1 server running the whole place. She was clearly overwhelmed. I can see why this place was so slow. would NOT recommend unless you want to wait an out for your food when all they serve is hot dogs.
