I wanted so badly to love Joe and Mimma’s because I had heard really good things but when it comes down to it the restaurant is very dated. We were sat in a ripped booth that had definitely seen much better days. I ordered the house Cabernet and it was served very warm in a hot wine glass. We also ordered a diet soda which was flat and very sweet. The waitress actually apologized and said that she knew the soda was very bad. We each had a salad bar which was pretty good though missing serving utensils in several bowls. I will say the pizza is good! Our server brought a bowl of bread which the garlic bread was just butter and parsley. We may return at some point to try some of the pasta dishes, but I was not impressed with my first visit.

Eh was ok. Pizza sub par! Staff.. omg needs improvement! Almost every table is dirty.. is it too much work to clean them? Salad bar.. SAD… Reviews were good. But not good at all. All the furniture was ripped and torn.

Our party came here for a simple early Mother’s Day lunch because the restaurant has good reviews. However, this was by far the WORST experience that I’ve ever had at a restaurant in my life. To start, our waitress, Jamayia, had a terrible attitude the entire time. She walked away from our table while we were in mid-sentence every time we asked a question. She never checked on our table until the end of the meal. She didn’t provide plates for the bread, didn’t offer drink refills, begrudgingly explained the specials for the day, and definitely didn’t pay attention to our meal requests. When our meals finally came, two items were missing the sauce and our salmon was overcooked and dry. We had to request the sauce when we were finally able to catch her again because she didn’t take the time to ask us about our orders when she delivered them. She literally set them on the table and immediately walked away while ignoring us when we began to ask about the sauce. She had an attitude on level 10 thousand the entire time. The restaurant did attempt to soften our terrible experience with free cake, which I didn’t eat, and a discount on our meal. However, you can’t put a price on good service and you can’t make-up for a bad meal.

This is one of my favorite places to get subs! Everytime my grandma visits Danville she brings me back a cold sub, the subs are always fresh, bread is toasted just right. The vegetables are always fresh and crispy, I absolutely love this place!
