My colleagues and I were looking for a new place to try. Seen great views but my experience is far from it. My fajitas were very dry, beans were burnt. When placing the call the man I spoke with was pleasant. We noticed the prices weren’t the same as quoted over the phone and called back spoke with some one else and she stated she would adjust the price. I totally understand inflation and how it works but if you told me one thing over the phone and once I get there you charge me a whole 3 bucks more for my food is malarkey. I paid 13-14 bucks for what is supposed to be a lunch special that was 11.49.

We have been wanting to try this place for years. We walked in, and no one greeted us. It seemed like they were surprised we were there. We pointed to a table, and they nodded and said we could sit wherever. We sat down, and our waitress was hard to understand. It was a mix of speaking softly and with a hard accent. Got water to drink and Longview water or this part of Longviews water is not good. So my wife got a diet coke. They have delicious and fresh chips, and they bring out their salsa. It wasn’t amazing, but they do have an alternate green salsa that was better and fresh. You have to get upon request. Definitely recommend that. We got the triple dip appetizer, but do not recommend it. It was basically an avocado smoothie and mac and cheese sauce x2. I ordered the Carne asada Torta and 5 street tacos(asada and chorizo mix), and my wife ordered the Pastor Gorditas. It took 45 minutes to get our food, there were only 2 customers in the restaurant at 11am. Us larger people had eaten 3 baskets of chips while we waited and were VERY tempted to leave as we were pretty much full…. it finally came out, and it was DELICIOUS, fresh, and well seasoned food. My wife loved her Gorditas, she tried them for the first time, and the AL Pastor was EXTREMELY juicy. This is like a tex-mex place but has a secret authentic Mexican side that they don’t really push to us gringos. But definitely recommend that part of their menu.

We used to frequent this restaurant when it was located in Hallsville. Since it has moved closer into Longview, we thought we would give it a try. They have margaritas that are pretty decent and complimentary. My husband ordered the Carne asada special ($13.99) on Friday. It comes with Carne asada, spicy chicken enchiladas, rice, and beans. It was amazing and I will order that next time.

We had a very good experience. Our waitress took great care of us, checking back to make sure we didn’t need anything, and if we were doing okay.

When you walk in the interior design looked to be clean and newish. The table design were cute and different. The music they were playing is good helped the time pass. The chips and salsa is actually good though they taste better with salt on em. The yellow queso is questionable and not really the best. No one came to the table to refill our drinks in the first 30 minutes of our wait. The free margaritas were actually really good, they tasted like spiked lemonade and they came in a Mason jar with salt on the rim. I think the free margaritas were put in place to try to distract you from the decades long wait you will experience to get your food. I am writing this review as I am waiting for my food 40 minutesof wait. They kept walking by with to go food, but we just kept being ignored and just kept waiting. When the food came it was smack. Very much worth the wait. Though you could tell the oil needed to be changed because the chips quality decreased. The taco salad bowl was dark and was not good. The enchiladas were apparently very good and they both had a clean plate. The staff was all nice just that wait was insane. I am assuming they are understaffed.

Authentic decor, food, service! Found this on Google maps trying to find a good Mexican lunch, and the 4.5 star rating is spot on. The corn tortillas were delicious, and the refried beans were tasty. There’s only a banner on the patio for their sign, so don’t miss it!
