JJ’s Hot Dogs is a nice place. Good service. I liked how they packed the french fries to go with paper separating the catsup from the fires, not allowing it to run everywhere by the time you make it to your destination and they pocked holes to avoid getting wet from the steam.

Great hot dogs. Had two hot works and a sweet works….thw dog itself was delicious. Nice size, good snap and taste. The hot works was the perfect amount of hot…easily one of the best if not the best hot dog in jersey

The best hot dogs! I drive an hr to get here. Always order the same thing, 2 dogs with hot onions and mustard!!! Yumm! They snap!

Stopped by to grab some hotdogs with my wife. The service was great. The people were really friendly. We had told them how we were not from the area and they were very welcoming. Guarantee that their hotdogs were the best. Well the hotdogs were actually close to great but if you do go buy hotdogs hold back on sauerkraut unless you want a wet hotdog bun. The bun was to wet for me to eat it. I ate one of of my wife’s hotdogs that had no sauerkraut. That’s how I know the hotdogs are good there. Hope they do something about the water in the sauerkraut

I have frequented their truck on the Ave many times over the past 20 years, but Wednesday was my first visit to the Fairfield brick and mortar. I delivered a few orders of theirs back to back for doordash and I couldn’t resist going home for the day without getting myself my favorites: a sweet works, a hot works and a chili w/raw onions. Perfection as always!
