The scallops we so delicious they melted in your mouth. The clams were large and not rubbery. Even the hamburger for the dogs was fresh and not frozen.

Came here today for the first time with my parents! The 3 of us all got fish sandwiches with cheese and fries. Unfortunately, they forgot to put the cheese on the sandwiches and we reminded them about the fries (they forgot about it bc of mixing up our order with someone else’s). An honest mistake that can happen anywhere, so no big deal! The fish sandwiches were delicious, large pieces of fish and served on buttered rolls! The fries were very good too! I’ll be back for sure! From the outside, the place looks like an ice cream shack that wouldn’t have a dining room inside, but it indeed does! Very nice and cozy atmosphere that makes you feel welcome! Definitely a hidden gem establishment in Lakeville, if you like seafood, PLEASE CHECK THEM OUT!!

They have the best French fries and I love that they toast the bun on their hot dogs, that’s the way I like them. Everything I have had do far has been great. And the staff is very friendly and the service is fast. I am not sure if her name but the woman that is usually at the window is very nice and knows my name and order when I call. That should tell you that I order from them alot. So glad I found this place.

Bummed they were out of chowder but the best fried seafood I’ve had in years! No pics was too busy eating. Staff was clearly tired but it wasn’t reflected in the food!

Had the fried clam plate. The clams were chewy and like rubber. They also had no taste. Called to let them know of my dissatisfaction and spoke to the chef who told me just put salt on them. Not what I wanted to hear … no empathy at all. Won’t ever go back again. They lost a good customer.

I first ate here in 1969 with my family. I think it was Frates back then…with a large milk bottle in front. I used to walk here in the early 70s with my pal Bobby Roza for the excellent fresh seafood and ice cream with our lawn-mowing money. Then I totaled my Volvo right in front of this place in 1981 while visiting my family in Lakeville while home from college. A car had pulled out from the restaurant in my path along county road. The owner was first on the scene and saved my life. Since then I’ve eaten at this place many times. Today, it is still a great local place to grab a classic New England style meal. If you’ve never been – check it out and be prepared to take a trip back in time and enjoy fish & chips and a vanilla cone. You will not be disappointed with this staple of SE Massachusetts.

Quahogs were delicious. Fish was flaky, moist, and very tasty, best fish hands down. Fried clams were full bellied and perfect. My favorite place for seafood.

Old school New England Seafood. They’ve been doing this for over 50 years and it shows. The Seafood platter was delicious.

Food taste very good, but they do charge alot for not much portion size. Some people don’t mind that, but I hate feel that I got ripped off.
