This place is legit. My friends and I ordered chicken fried steak, fried catfish, brisket taco, & chopped beef sandwich (with okra, mashed potatoes, green beans, and corn fritters). It was all DELICIOUS! Highly recommended! It is an unassuming place to eat. Don’t let the fact it’s attached to a convenience store fool you either. Lots of people came to eat here; the place was packed by 5:20pm.

My family and I are visiting for a weekend trip, the food was amazing, the staff was so friendly to my kids and my dog, they gave us a dog treat for her. When our food came, one of my kids immediately knocked over our burger basket and the waitress was quick to make another for us free of charge. The chicken strips and fries are a must try here!

10 pieces of fried to order chicken for 11.99. Hard to believe fresh fried chicken for such a price. Of course you have to wait 15 minutes for it to be made. The catfish was done just right with a side of tots and a slaw that wasn’t as sweet as common around here. Owner’s burger appeared to be a patty melt for a bargain price. Nachos had shredded BBQ meat rather than hamburger. I would order any of them again.

Stopped here for dinner and the fried catfish plate with green beans and tots was so delicious! It was a very generous serving of catfish and I had some left to take home. They offer all-day breakfast, BBQ plates, burgers, fried chicken, and other American and Tex-Mex fare. Customer service was wonderful as well. It’s a very family oriented environment, well kept, and great food.
