If you’re like me, trying to try new foods and new atmosphere, then this is place to do it. The atmosphere is very decorative and cool. My server, Jonathan, was STELAR. He helped me order something because I had no clue what I would like. He also continued to check in and make sure I was doing good. Lastly, the food was really good. The only criticism that I have is if the tempura batter could be a tad bit less salty. It was like my mouth got a salt shot; though it was good regardless. Definitely would recommend. 4.5/5

I thought this place was okay but not great. To be honest, almost nothing competes with Pho 7 in Tallahassee. I got Japanese curry chicken instead. I expected more texture and flavor and was disappointed. I got the small portion. It seemed to have about 1/4 cup of meat and sauce with about 1.5 cups of white rice. It was just okay. The service was VERY good, and other food might have impressed me. My wife enjoyed her ramen, but she also harked for Pho 7. It’s possible we are just spoiled! The outdoor patio was packed when we arrived, so other visitors seek the place out. Give it a try and prove me wrong! 🙂

A Profound experience. Most ramen store you go to can be lackluster but at Jinya Ramen Bar you won’t have that experience. My ramen was full of flavor with a nice amount of spices the noodles were well cook. It was so delicious I actually drink all the broth!

Great ramen place in Athens across from UGA. Handicap accessible though a LITTLE tight. Great staff and atmosphere. I highly recommend the crispy rice /spicy tuna and I tend to order the Red (#2, that heat goes up quick)

Great Service! Say the the bar tonight – barkeep was Jessica. Challenged her for her Smoky Ole-Fashioned and she NAILED IT! Great attention to the details of this ole favorite. HIGHLY recommend her craft drink skills! As to the food – perfect! I’ve lived abroad – 6 years in Japan – and their Shrimp & Pork ramen was awesome! Also had a fried rice curry appetizer and it was very good also. As a close friend of mine says – “I’ll be Back”!!!

My friend and I love ramen, so Jinya is always a go to when we can’t decide on a restaurant. I always get the Jinya Bun and the Jinya Tonkotsu Black but I substitute the thin noodles for the thick noodles. I really like the thick noodles for ramen, but I’m sure the thin noodles would be good too. I haven’t tried their other food although maybe I’ll try to branch out one day.

The staff was so nice even though they were slammed. The food was phenomenal. We have wanted to try a more authentic Ramen bar for awhile and this location did not disappoint. In fact it was so good we wished we had time to lunch there again before leaving town. We will be back when we visit Athens.

A great little gem. It doesn’t give the wow factor, but it’s still a great option that satisfies the cravings. I’ve done done-in and delivery. Delivery was not good as they forgot two of my side items.

Open the day after Christmas, which came in very clutch.

Had a great dinner after a fun volleyball tournament here at UGA! It was a lot of people but Jessica was super nice/patient and helped us out even if that meant getting her awesome hair wet
