Probably the single worst Chinese food experience I’ve had in Palo Alto. They tried to sell us twice fried pork and it was completely messed up. The owner actually came out and had the audacity to tell us “yea we know you know what real Twice Fried Pork is and this is fake, but we don’t care. If you don’t like it we’ll take it back”. I actually burst out laughing! I’ve never had a manager blatantly tell me they cook a fake dish! Really funny but would never eat here again.

None of the items we got were authentic.

Landed here super hungry and tired. It’s an old style restaurant with table covers and carpeted floors. We Ordered tofu soup , vegetable dumplings in chili oil and roasted string beans after a long day of walking. We wanted something warm and comforting. Soup and dumplings were super. Tasted even better with their chilli paste. The beans had a pungent smell and taste could be reused oil or cooked without cleaning the last dish could have been meat. Vegetarian friendly if you’re not very very particular like my mother. There’s plenty of restaurants around.

I 1st ate at this restaurant in the late nineties. I love all types of food. Chinese food is one of my favorite foods to eat. This is the best Chinese food restaurant I have ever dined at! If you have a favorite dish, it’s better here. Anything you order here will be Delicious! Great location in downtown Palo Alto, but plan to eat early because parking and tables fill up fast. The staff is curtious, tables are kid friendly, the ambiance and decor is ornate, yet subtle. The only criticism I can make is sometimes it takes awhile to get your check, and the bathroom is next to the kitchen. If you haven’t been to Jing Jing’s, GO. Tonight. You can thank me later.

Great Chinese food in the heart of Palo Alto.

Food was amazing. I love the walnut prawn. All around great Chinese food. Good place to go to in Palo Alto.

One of those places that’s like a home away from home for me whenever we eat here! ❤️

The food was average, but on the expensive side (as with most places in this area). String beans were the highlight of our meal. Mongolian beef was okay but filled with filler veggies like onions and green onions. The Dan Dan noodles were not good at all. The service was slow in getting our orders in and getting the check; the food didn’t take long.

Always solid comfort food which tastes like it’s made by my grandma. The string beans and the walnut shrimp, made with pecans instead, are always a hit

Chefs kiss, honestly. Those spring rolls are like golden logs of pure joy. Order them time and time again.
