I have no complaints. The host was very nice as well as the servers. We were attending a fundraising event on the upper level. It is a very cozy place. No need to get dressed up, unless you want to. Very friendly atmosphere. I’m assuming the food was catered by them. I plan on revisiting them again in the near future.

My husband and I ordered half a dozen medium crabs and they were good, but not worth going out of your way for. They didn’t have crabs larger than that. We also got the mac n cheese, which was very good. I recommend that.

My husband grew up not far from Jimmy’s and we eat there whenever we go back. We had Crab Stars to start with, no picture because I was too slow and they were too good! I had salmon with crab imperial and my husband had a crab cake and as always the food was amazing. If I could give them 10 stars I would, from the food to the service to the atmosphere it’s one of the best restaurants anywhere.

Finally made my way here last night, it was my first time and I forget to make a reservation and of course they were busy but we got seated at the bar with Katie & Ryan (he was closing out but helped out when Katie was busy) everything was perfect, my seafood sampler was delicious! My partner got the crab cake egg rolls which were PHENOMENAL and the Mexican mule I had was nice and strong. Now when I say Katie was BUSY but she gave us her undivided at the same time I was impressed. Can’t wait for my next visit and shoutout to the chef for this Catfish etouffee dish. It’s bursting with flavor. The snow crab clusters were plentiful and perfectly cooked

Everything I saw on social media was true! The crab dip, the crab cake egg rolls. All of it was amazing, I don’t even eat oysters but the ones they had in the tower were delicious beyond it! The sushi was so good and when you do the combo, you legit get so much food! Our waitress was super sweet when we asked if we could also order food to go. And everyone from the bar up front to the dining in the back was so sweet (we didn’t know where the entrance was based on where we parked) cannot wait to return and try more items on the menu.

I guess there is a benefit of living so close to the airport and right off 95. Made the short drive out to Baltimore, MD. First stop, Jimmy”s famous seafood, this place was featured on “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives”. We started with the drinks, 4x espresso martinis and 2x whiskey on the rocks

Food was pretty good. Seafood tower ($70) was robust and fresh. Wished we got butter for the crab though. Service was slow, though not busy so by the time the waitress came back, we had finished half the crab and didn’t need butter any more. The cheese dip was good. Sushi was disappointing, the sushi topping was the best part. Got the Zeus Roll and the salmon was so dry. Again, service was really slow so it also took a while to get napkins, plates and silverware after food was served, and we only got one pair of chop sticks after asking twice. Also was not provided any bucket or anything to put the shells in from the tower..

Brought my father and brothers-in-law here for Father’s day. The hosts were pleasant, the server was attentive, and the food was delicious. Be prepared to spend at least $50/person, but the food is well worth it. I don’t know if it was specific to father’s day, but there was a saxophonist with the outdoor seating area.

My husband and I went here one Saturday afternoon to have crabs and it was an interesting experience. We had been here twice for Brunch events and wanted to see what it was like just to dine in the restaurant. One thing we did not know was that you need reservations so we were not able to eat in the restaurant but we were offered to wait for the bar area which is below the restaurant. We decided to wait and wait we did. The bar was busy but staff was standing around like it wasn’t. They looked at us and looked at each other like we were not supposed to be there and took there sweet time to come provide service. My husband reached over the bar the get menus after waiting forever finally a dude came over and took our drink order waited forever for those. I wanted to leave long before now but my husband was not willing to leave we drove an hour to get to Jimmy’s and he was not leaving. I was looking up other restaurants in the area. Drinks finally come and we order I ordered large crabs and my husband ordered sushi. I can’t say I was pleased with size of my crabs they were small to medium crabs not large at all local crab houses have larger crabs. My husband said Sushi was good and what he expected but I am a stickler for getting what I pay for. The crabs were disappointing along with the over cooked corn and potatoes. Being ignored for extended periods of time in a restaurant establishment is ridiculous and then they expect to get a tip. I have spent money so I expect excellent service. I was just very disappointed with the quality of service after having such a nice time at the brunch events. Going forward I’ll try other seafood places this is no long a go to for me. To many places in DMV to settle for poor service. But I will say it’s worth a try to gain your own opinion. Enjoy I included pics and also some pics from our last brunch experience crab hash and crab cake
