I had the most unbelievable experience here yesterday. I ordered the turkey unwhich for lunch. It came with 3 very thin slices of turkey meat. Luckily, I ordered cheese because the sandwich would’ve basically been a pile of shredded lettuce. I am asking corporate for a refund at the moment. Not to mention, the sandwich came out to a whopping 10.59!! So, get this…it was 3 thin slices of turkey, 2 slices of provolone, and a bunch of shredded lettuce! I will attach the picture so that you can be just as shocked as I was! Shame on you, Jimmy Johns!!

I went this location at 7 PM. I waited for a while in the drive thru with no response after I saw them duck down at the window. While I checked the hours, I saw other people complaining about the same thing I was going through. Some said they just told them they ran out of bread. After I left the drive thru, I saw them pop back up and start to make their own sandwiches. I walked to the window and asked if they were closed, and they said no but that they were all out of bread. Another location confirmed that running out of bread is almost impossible to do. Those employees there are embarrassing and I hope they get fired for being a bunch of liars.

Everything about it was good except 2 subs I spent over $56 on for me and my buddy I met before him moving to Oregon and I still could have eaten more. I can’t afford to eat there. Jersey Mike’s is also good but expensive.

I’ve been ordering from this JJ’s for a while and it’s usually been pretty spot on. I order the same thing every time: a country club with extra tomato, and a bootlegger club with extra turkey and light lettuce / extra mayo. I’ve always thought the extra turkey was a bit of a rip off as it never seems to be worth an extra 4 bucks or whatever it is, but I order it anyways. Today, they sent me two sandwiches, one was correct – the country club. The other one had provolone on it somehow, and had what looked like 4 slices of meat on the whole sandwich. Almost insultingly, they mislabeled the sandwiches, so I got to have fun trying to figure that one out before I even realized they botched the bootlegger. So I call the store to complain, and a very understanding and patient manager tells me that there’s a new employee that is making some mistakes and she will fix the order and send it out in an hour when the driver is available. An hour passes, and this ends up on my doorstep. Two shreds of lettuce (they take “light” VERY seriously apparently), and two sad tomatoes in a sea of mayonnaise.

This particular restaurant is consistently among the highest in cleanliness and staffs happy personalities. I almost always order the Turkey Tom. The number one reason for my returning to JJ”s is the sandwich bread. I don’t know where it comes from but I wish I could get it in a store. A big Thanks to the hard working people there!

Quality is consistent and I love the bread here. I always get the Club Lulu with hot peppers. One of my all time favorites. I did try the Caprisi last week and it was also very good. The reduction of the star is because they have increased the price of their sandwhiches at this location, but have not updated the drive through menu pricing. So, you will be paying more than they advertise. I told the guy at the window and he said its up to the owner to update the menu and shrugged.

I had never been to a Jimmy John’s, so I figured it was time to check it out. Extremely disappointed. The girl at the register says, what do ya want? I said well, I think something with roast beef. She says ok, a #2; I’m like, what’s a #2? Hang on a sec so I can see what’s on it. She’s like roast beef! OK, can I get some swiss cheese on it, and can I make it hot? Hot peppers? I said no can I get it heated? No, we don’t do that. I said well, ok, and a drink. She slams the cup down and pushes the machine at me to pay. NEXT she says. So I got my drink, and I waited and waited. Finally, she slams what I guess is my order; I take it and go. In my car, I open this thin, flat, cold sandwich with no swiss. I don’t even know how much I paid for this – nothing but a cold, dry hunk. Never again will I feel the need to try that place. Now I need to go buy lunch.

The employees are RIDICULOUSLY rude. I will never go back here after they were so rude to us when we were trying to order for a kid. We asked for the managers name and the number to complain and he said they didn’t have a number and he said his name was Brock! We asked another question and they completely ignored us at the drive thru box. They also were serving customers on foot in the drive thru a whole group of people so we couldn’t leave the drive thru until they walked away.

I had never tried Jimmy John’s so driving down town Mesa I thought I would try. Person in front being served by a really nice guy. My turn and I got the most impatient person possible. I asked what was on the sandwich because I like some greens. She literally barked at me. Everything is on the menu said she.
