I ordered over $200 in box lunches for a company event, everything was perfect, on time and everybody was very pleased. Would definitely do business here again.

Very slow service and rude employees. Had a worker close the drive thru window as I was speaking to her. I reported this and the store did nothing about it. Not to mention I waited in the drive thru line for no one to even come on the speaker, when the 2 cars ahead of me had no issue. The fact that they do not even care how their employees treat their customers is disgusting and I will never return to this location.

I’ll never understand how they can claim “freaky fast” delivery. Haven’t ordered from this location in over a year because their delivery times were nearly an hour and a half EVERY time I ordered (small orders, 1-2 sandwiches). Decided to give them another chance today. Been over an hour so far and the tracking still says “order received” on the app. Could order delivery from ANY other place in Springfield and get it faster than Jimmy John’s. Done giving my money to this poor excuse of a “fast” food chain. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

I decided to try Jimmy John’s for the first time and it was freaky fast like the commercials advertise. Likely because I came close closing time, the service at the drive thru window was abysmal as the staff seemed more occupied with preparing the store for closing. Call me petty but the change was off as the cashier gave me a penny instead of a dime. I waited at the window for a couple of minutes to inform the cashier but he didn’t notice me. Sandwich-wise, I was recommended the Hunter’s Club and I thought was okay. I’ll likely give Jimmy John’s another chance but likely not here.

Their bread is always kind of chewy, but today it was as hard as a rock. Very hit and miss with the bread.

On 1/17 at 6:30, through the drive-through window, I ordered two 16 inch sandwiches. The employee stated that he did not have enough bread for two 16 inch sandwiches. I understood that to mean that he did not have enough 16 inch long loaves, so I asked if he could do one 16 inch sandwich and two additional 8 inch sandwiches. I clarified I need the equivalent of two giant 16 subs. He said ok, and that it would be less expensive that way. (so I understood this to mean that we were on the same page) I got to the window, paid, and noticed only two 8 inch sandwiches in my bag. ( I was also only charged for 2 sandwiches.) I waited at the window, watched the employees talking to each other, but no one ever came back to the window, so I pulled around again through the drive thru. I stated that I must have not been clear because I needed 4 sandwiches, and tried to order 2 more. The employee stated that he couldn’t fulfill the order because it would use too much bread. (Don’t they bake their bread on site? I thought that’s a big part of Jimmy John’s business model). He went on to say that he would not be able to keep the store open till closing if he sold me two more sandwiches. It was 6:30 PM, and they are open until 9 PM. I asked sort of jokingly, if he was saving bread to sell to customers that weren’t there yet, and he basically said, yes, I can’t stay open if I sell you such a large amount of sandwiches. He said that for people who come through and order a “normal” amount of sandwiches he has to have enough for them. Wow. I’m not sure how 4 sandwiches is considered excessive, especially when it’s to feed 4 people. To make this even better, another employee sitting in the back, leaned forward and said “there’s another store, not that far from here, ya know”. Yes, I know. But suggesting that I go to two different locations because I ordered an “excessive” amount of sandwiches (four) seems absurd. I told him that I wanted my money back. I handed the sandwiches back through the window and he said he can’t take them back, which is not my problem. I obviously will not take some thing that I didn’t pay for, and I refuse to give them a penny of my money now. I asked for a receipt to show it was voided, and he told me he would do it at the end of the night. Lol, really? I told him I would wait while he voids it immediately and gives me a receipt. I’m very curious to know if the owner of this location has a policy of limiting sales at a certain time of the night, for the “possibility” of later sales. Firehouse Subs tasted soooo good after this. To clarify- this was at the S Campbell location. At the other Jimmy John’s locations, I have never had anything but superb service.

They really do have freaky fast delivery. Somehow my lunch always arrives before expected. I’ve dealt with some delivery services forgetting small important items (like straws) but haven’t had any issues like that here. Food always comes as ordered and pricing is reasonable and affordable. I also love they have a built in option for unwhich in the app for those who are trying to avoid extra carbs.

The store is the cleanest i’ve seen of all the sandwich shops in Springfield. The customer service is amazing the staff is always friendly we always end up having a good conversation they never mess up my food and I absolutely love this place it’s about the one place left in Springfield that gets my food to me in a timely manner and has amazing customer service and consistently makes amazing food. It’s also the one food that I can eat while pregnant that doesn’t irritate my stomach to the point of feeling nauseous so that is an extreme plus. I’ve worked at just about every sandwich shop in Springfield this will continue to be my favorite.
