While I have worked the food industry myself for many years, I just can’t give this store more than two stars. Things are just so frequently inconsistent. I’ll get a notice for delayed delivery times and have the food arrive in 20 minutes one day, and then not get any warning on an order that takes them 2 hours to get delivered. It’s not the workers, I mean, if the company actually paid/staffed well enough their service could be excellent. It’s just disappointing because sometimes it’s nice to have a fast/reliable way to order a quick lunch. You just don’t get that with Jimmy John’s anymore.

I made this account just to write a review about how much I enjoy this place and the people that work here. Service is great, very good people working here. Food is good and made in a very timely fashion. I get a more personal connection with the people that work here than I do at any other fast food place.

Worst customer service!!! We ordered at 6:40pm for pick up. Got there at the same time and waited 20 minutes. Attempted to get in at 6:45pm and doors were locked. Called at 7:02pm and he said we are closed. I asked when they closed and he said 7. I explained that I ordered 20 minutes prior and have been waiting outside. He never offered to make us sandwiches quick or a refund. We left and a couple minutes later I got a notification that my order was refunded. So clearly he had my order and didn’t care to work….I saw 5 workers standing there for 20 minutes and didn’t make a single sandwich. Horrible manager and customer service,!

It’s really hard to stay sympathetic durong this pandemic to a business that has frequently difficult to work with employees, horrible adherence to Dane County mask mandates, and wildly varying hours compared to posted signage and Google listings. I’m happy to spend money on subs, but I shouldn’t have to gamble on when this location is open. Maybe this one closed at 5pm today? Who knows. Sometimes you get there before the Google listed close time and the employees just stare at you. Maybe you get there close enough to the “surprise closing time” and you catch them running out of Steve’s with a 12 pack of beer because they’re already closed.

I ordered 1 sandwich, for delivery, at 11:22am on 1/27/21. After 40 minutes of waiting I called the store – no answer. I then tried again a couple more times – no answer. At 12:10pm I submitted an online feedback form as my only other option was to drive to the store. At 12:20, after 1 hour of waiting, I told my partner that I was heading to the store. When I walked downstairs to put my shoes on JJ’s was knocking on the door. 1 hour….for a sub???? I wanted to wait to hear back from JJ’s about this experience before posting, but it’s now been a week and I haven’t heard anything from this store. It’s apparent that customer service is not important to them, and as a result I won’t be returning. There are other places close by where I can spend my money.
