My girlfriend and I decided to go to Jimmy John’s for a “Quick Lunch” and turned into us waiting for 30 minutes in the drive through line before we got our lunch. It was very frustrating watching Culver’s speedy drive through service to our right while we waited for the four cars ahead of us to receive their food. Once we made it to the delivery window, we were given the wrong order… after notifying them of this mistake immediately after receiving another’s customers drink, we had to wait another five minutes for our correct order. After we got home, my girlfriend’s order was so incorrect that she couldn’t eat the sandwich. I understand good work is hard to come by (especially if they’re teenagers) , but a great leader for the team is the start. Hopefully this Jimmy John’s team will figure it out.

We stopped by the Jimmy John’s in Cottage Grove the other night to have a meal. Five boys were standing around, goofing around and eating a sub where food is prepared. One of our children went to the lady’s bathroom while my husband and I were looking at the menu. No one was in the dining room and not all of the tables had been wiped. The young man at the register then said “Just to let you know, we are not allowing anyone to sit in the dining room.” Looking at the boys who were not doing anything, I asked the teenager, “Is there something wrong with the dining area?”. He said “No, we don’t want anyone eating there because we don’t have enough people to clean the tables.”

Went through the drive-thru and got 2 sandwiches. One of them was the spicy italian but it didn’t have the hot peppers on it. When I called to tell them, the person on the phone was rude and asked if I even ordered the peppers with the sandwhich. I told her the sandwich I ordered (#7) comes with the hot peppers and all she said is that she’ll remind the staff about it. No attempt to make the situation right. Won’t be going back to this one.

better than classic subs. very delicious, quick prep and pickup. Quality meats and cheese. crispy fresh veggies, tasty breads that taste like bread and not sugar. Jimmy Johns sandwiches are 5 star.

The food is good. But some time in the last 6 months I suspect maybe a management change resulted in much, much slower service. Sitting in an unmoving drive-thru line as I write this. I may visit less frequently.

I’m first going to note that although this establishment claims to have dine in, it is drive thru only. But my main issue was that they served flat pop. I ordered a coke and my cup was filled up part way and then they filled the rest with a bottle of fresh coke, which if I had bought would have been 20 cents more expensive. The pop was completely flat and I would consider it to be in drinkable. In addition, our sandwiches were very sparsely filled which was disappointing.

Disaster. Four items missing from my order. Computer “crashed” and had to reorder three times. No ice, so soft drinks were warm. One bag of chips was open and the other was just missing all together. Bummer. Short staffed so we waited 45 min- ridiculous!!

Out of all the JJ’s this is my personal fave because of the drive-thru close to where I live. Yes there are better places for deli sandwiches but I have to give them credit for maintaining the chain consistency plan so that you know what your going to get whenever you walk into any of them and the prices are still decent too. So why is it the Madison area only has 3 JJ’s with drive-through’s out of all of the stores in this area and all of them are located either on the edge of town or out of it? Since Covid I don’t do walk in’s so if a place don’t have a drive-through I go to one that does even if its a few miles out of my way. Corporate needs to do something about this. The Waunakee store is on my way home from work and the Cottage Grove store is only 4 miles from where I live and those are the ones I go to, either way, always good consistent food, no its not like a “real deli” but the concept works and it is healthy.

Absolutely love this Jimmy John’s location! They always have our order 100% correct and are so unbelievably friendly!

When people are working the sandwiches are just fine and made we’ll. My low rating is because they are never open to anything close of advertised hours.
