One sub was the Vito, one sub was the Little John. Almost impossible to tell the difference. They were both incredibly small! One sub was 4.59, the other was 7.29.

Did you fire that horrible manager yet? If not you lost lots and lots of business defending them. You DO NOT fire someone over snapchat. How unprofessional. Plus he lost his young sister?! Gross. Do better. This Was The only jimmy I went to… Not anymore.

There are heartless employees / management here because they fired one of their employees solely because he wanted to grieve his sisters passing for a few days. Shameful company, if management sees this, I hope you understand how he felt when someone close to you passes, and you won’t fire someone else because of it. Loss is difficult, and work places should respect that. Do better.

I will never spend money here again. We have had repeated bad experiences with Jimmy John’s delivery, but the icing on the cake was finding out that the manager fired one of her staff for requesting bereavement time when his sister passed unexpectedly. I find this absolutely disgusting. I have made 3 attempts to talk to the manager of this location about this issue and get her side of the story. I was told once that she was out on a delivery (the manager leaves the store to make deliveries?). I came on Saturday I was told the manager doesn’t work weekends (why doesn’t the manager of a fast food/delivery place work weekends?), so I came back Monday but she still wasn’t in. Very curious if the manager makes her own decisions here regarding hiring and firing with no input from HR, or if this kind of treatment of employees is sanctioned by Jimmy John’s. Either way, I would urge locals to pick another sandwich shop. We have to look after our own in this community, and NO ONE deserves to be treated this way after dealing with an unexpected loss of that magnitude.

Fired a young man due to him wanting bereavement! After not missing work, missing family functions. Told him to enjoy us time off during his bereavement to find a new job. Will not be eating here ever again. Do better! Will be contacting corporate!

Jimmy johns as a franchise should be incredibly disappointed in their management. Absolutely no professionalism, compassion, or empathy. The manager should be terminated as well as all future candidates to have formal training on the appropriate way to handle bereavement for employees. Do better.

No one was in the front when I came in yesterday at 4:15. I waited and began to wonder if there was anyone working there at all. Luckily a nice young man happened to report to work while I was waiting. He immediately helped me. Then a couple girls came up from the bank talking, talking talking, oblivious to their surroundings. Nice to see at least one employee had a good work ethic.

Fired a young man via snapchat when his sister passed away. He asked for a few days off for her funeral and to grieve. He was told “This isn’t a good time to be taking time off.” Employees are humans, we are connected and love other humans, we hurt when they pass away. For a place to be so cold to also take his means of living for himself during such a hars time is disgusting and cold hearted. I’m not sure who is running this store but they won’t be seeing me in it.

My nephew worked here until he was fired. He was fired because he asked for time off to mourn his sister who passed away. I’ll never eat at another jimmy johns again. It makes me sick to know this is how you treat employees.
