If you are hungry for fish, this is the place to go. Especially if you’re interested in fried catfish and walleye. The fish was excellent. Not the least bit oily. It was hot, freshly fried, and tasted great. It was served with brown beans, hush puppies, a baked potato, coleslaw, and pickles. If you’re not a fish person there are other menu items. However I highly recommend the fish. It has a diner type atmosphere and excellent service.

Sadly this was my first time here, I ordered a shrimp basket with 3 pieces of Walleye, the waitress was very friendly and helpful however the shrimp was cooked too long and was very hard, the Walleye which is cooked to order was 1 piece short I received 2 of the 3 pieces of fish, it was very thin and very tough with very small pieces of spiney bone.

Typical small town hole in the wall. If you are picky about decor, don’t bother. If you are more concerned about the flavor and quality service, then head on over! We stopped in for breakfast, and asked for Walleye instead of ham with eggs, hash browns and toast. The fish was cooked to absolute perfection, lightly breaded and seasoned! So worth the stop, and many thanks to the cook and waitress for being flexible.
