Motel rooms are dirty & grimy. Place could be a great place if it was kept up & cleaned. Mattress was terrible. Staff are so friendly & nice. Atmosphere is great also. Place just needs some love

Portions were HUGE! Our service was excellent! Pulled pork with Brussel Sprouts was delicious! The side of bbq was a nice touch. The apple pie or turnover was not cooked and doughy. I threw it in the garbage! Just order the entrees, stay away from their dessert.

We stayed one night in the cabins & I had a certificate to eat at the restaurant. The atmosphere/decor was eclectic & random. The portions were big, but the food was not good. The Dr Pepper was flat, they didn’t have real A1 for the hamburger steak (was a froze patty) , the tea was bad, the bacon on BLT tasted like old grease, this is a picture of the Brussel sprouts (VERY overcooked)–reminded us of a bug smashed on windshield. The fries were crispy & all of the plates/utensils/etc were plastic & paper. The plate actually melted through & stuck to our table. We’re glad we went for experience, but won’t be returning. The menu was very limited as well.

Our first visit was a year ago and I loved how authentic it was. The food was good and the atmosphere made you very nostalgic. Antiques every where you looked, someone took a lot of time in this place and I loved it. We went back to take our kids yesterday and found out they had a fire a few months back, I was so sad for them. To have lost so many memories, my heart hurts for them. They ate rebuilding and are in a place behind the old one. The food is still just as good. The waitress wasn’t the best, she didn’t think to refill our drinks at all unless we asked. I look forward to going back again. I am going to share the pictures I took last year as I think its important to remember what they had.

The place is really decorated well. Very cute. Many different places to sit including outside. Food came very fast. Sweet tea was not good. Burger definitely tasted like a frozen burger. Over priced for what it was. Was expecting actual burger for $12.

After seeing a YouTube review of this place, I couldn’t wait to try it out. Supposedly, the ribs were the best around. I was really disappointed after trying them. The meat didn’t fall off the bone like he claimed & was actually kind of hard to remove. They were a little dry as well. They tasted ok & the bbq was alright, but hardly the best around. The mashed potatoes and gravy would have been great, except for the pepper they put in them. I can’t eat pepper. The fried apples were okay, but they tasted kind of old. I walked around the store after my meal, and although they had a lot of old antique stuff to look at, besides the assortment of candy, there really wasn’t a whole lot of unique gift items. It’s hard to believe this place has a 4 star rating. Maybe they used to be better, but now, I’d recommend going somewhere else.

We had the buffet-I thought most of the food was pretty good- not fantastic. The fried chicken and the potato casserole were my favorites. Didn’t enjoy the cornbread or catfish as much. The. Undeterred has a lot of variety and a nice salad bar. The stew was a little tasteless. The country was great. The staff were very friendly and offered a lot of free samples.

I wish I could give this place 6 stars! I loved everything about it. It does not taste like restaurant food this is true southern home cooking. I had the lunch buffet to eat, everything tastes homemade, Fried chicken, cornmill breaded catfish, greens, cornbread… After we finished eating a guy slicing meat gave us a taste of what he called brisket bark (it was one of the best bites of food in my life, I’m not exaggerating), he also gave us a pile of fresh sliced roast beef which was nothing short of amazing. Also they have a ton of different BBQ sauces I loved the original. This place is a must try.

Opens at 6:30 am every day. Closes 9:30 pm Sunday -Thursday, 10:30 Friday & Saturday. The breakfast buffet is $8.95. I’m not a fan of scrambled eggs so they brought me out fried eggs for no extra charge. Good service with lots of sauces, jams, jellies, marinades that you can take home with you. And you can’t leave without stocking up on their handmade fudge. And for the dark chocolate lovers, don’t miss their dark chocolate fudge. Usually available Valentines day into March. The gift shop has an eclectic variety that puts Cracker Barrel a run for their money.
