The ambience and decor is quite fun! I loved the margarita and mini corn muffins! Our server was very attentive and speedy! We ordered the baby back ribs but they were very dry, almost uneatable. Our server replaced the baby backs with spare ribs which were tender! I would recommend this place for the margaritas and appetizers! The deviled eggs were great! If the ribs weren’t dry and perhaps a bit old I would’ve given 5 stars! The star didnt shine as bright as expected!

This is a small southern franchise with about 40 stores exclusively in the Southeast U.S. except for three outposts in the Denver area–lucky us! I’m very frustrated with BBQ here in Denver. Most local pitmasters act like they’re cooking at sea level. They cut off too much fat and smoke the meat to death, so the results are tough and dry. The kitchen here knows how to adjust for this altitude and arid climate. I was very impressed. This is Alabama-style BBQ which I think is unique to Denver.

You can always smell smoke in north field thanks to Jim N Nicks. The delicious scent draws you to an amazing family friendly restaurant with a full bar and a few sports TVs as well. I love the ribs here and the staff is knowledgeable and very accommodating. The kids menu has some of the best deals in the area and don’t worry because everyone can try the corn muffins. I’d highly recommend checking this one out especially if you have the little one with you.

Wasn’t sure what to think of this place as the outside doesn’t indicate much about it. But we were hungry and it was right there so we gave it a shot. Liked the decor and vibe of the restaurant. Seating was open and comfortable. Options were plentiful with lots of emphasis on BBQ and sandwiches. I tried the Turkey Sandwich and the Cubano. Both were good but very different. Service was pretty good too even during a busy hour. Will be trying again at some point.

Overall a good place… collards we’re a good side order and the onion rings and mini cornbreads were solidly good appetizers. Brisket and chicken were okay but not nearly the best you can get. Fun atmosphere…. it’s a 4 out of 5 for me….

Im glad that theres a bbq place near home. The cheese bisquits they serve are fantastic and the servers are very helpful and nice. We got pulled pork and brisket with mac and cheese and the food was okay.
