I have been passing this place for almost a year now without stopping. They smell BBQ, which is amazing. I finally stopped in. I was greeted with smiles and seated immediately. The AC was refreshing after todays heat. Waitress appeared with delicious cornbread and took my drink order.The food was great, and the atmosphere was nice. I had chicken and brisket. I wanted dark meat but was giving white meat, and th brisket was slightly dry. Reason I didn’t give 5 stars. Will go back to try the ribs.

Jim ‘N Nick’s is always a great place to grab BBQ. They are the ONLY chain BBQ joints I like! It can be busy or really chill. This day, I went in just after lunch hours and it was pretty calm. I was able to eat and get some work done. They have a decent bar and a decent drink menu.

Stopped for dinner, and was greeted quickly and sat at the bar. The beer selection is kind of minimal, would like better tap selection. The food was good! The little cheddar biscuits are amazing. I ordered the Smoked wings with the white sauce, and they are amazing. Never had the white sauce before, but it’s something unique and tasty. Also ordered 3 meat combo ( rubs, brisket, OG porked). The brisket was a nice ratio of fat/mean and juicy, tender, and a nice smoke flavor. The ribs are toothy, and meaty. Not fall of the bone, but tender and pull away. The pulled pork was a good sized portion, and not dry or over watery, just right. The Mac+cheese was good, but a little cold. The collards were decent, could have a more vinegar bite. The portions are great for the price point.
