This is a great lunch spot! If you are looking for upscale food but a casual vibe, go here. I had a tuna on rye, one of the best tuna sandwiches I ever had. My friend had french onion soup and a Caesar salad she said both were very good and my other friend has the Scrod anglaise ( a white fish cooked in butter and bread crumbs) which was excellent. So you can see the diverse range they have on their menu. The lunch menu is a smaller menu than dinner but I think all the basics are covered from hamburgers to salmon to salads. And Allison is a sweetheart. She took care of us even when I ask for ketchup even though it was already on my plate. Duh. Just go here and be pleasantly surprised.

I recommend having reservations even though no where that I see on their website does it say this. When we first walked in the hostess asked if we had reservations, and we said no. She said she would speak with head hostess who then asked if we had reservations and we again said no. She said okay let me check with the manager. He came and asked if we had reservations. We were seated in the bar which is not a problem. The service was great which is why I have them at a 3 star and not lower. My wife’s salad was brown and looked like it had sat in the refrigerator overnight with stuff on top of it. The rest food was pretty good, but the scallops were a bit undercooked and very chewy because of it.

Food and atmosphere were great. I had the route 28 mudslide and it wad amazing. A brownie topped with icecream surrounded by a landslide of whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. There is a metered lot outside the restaurant but there is also 2 hour free parking on the street right above the restaurant.

I can’t say enough about this place it was my first time there my girlfriend had mentioned it to me so I said okay let’s go. The steak salad is amazing customer service there was born on the best all-around amazing experience and I definitely will go back for some more of that steak salad it’s definitely a really unique experience near the railroad tracks you hear trains coming and going pretty cool

Swung in for a quick bite while on the road and was seated served and out the door in 15-20 minute they get 5 stars all the way around the servers all made light conversation especially Kim since obviously I was eating alone as I do 5 days a week great place … will be returning.!
