I have to give this place a 1 I was already skeptical based off of the picture I seen when I noticed the picture that’s in the window of the restaurant was not the same pictures as what was on the website the chicken was nice and golden brown and the one on the website was more like what I received the chicken was tasteless the fries were very greasy and crunchy when I first got there I was advise that they were out of fries so I advise onion rings I’m not sure how they got the fries but they were truely disgusting I wanted to throw the food away after the first bite but I didn’t want to waste any food… I’m new to the area and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place

We’ve been wanting to try JGs for years. The experience of ordering out was great. Super friendly staff, food cooked fresh to order. But the food was a little bit of a let down, especially their chicken fingers. I would not recommend. They’re like large chicken nuggets, not actual crispy fingers. The fish & whole wings were decent, and the fries lacked any flavor and were cooked prob in the same grease as hush puppies and fish. The hush puppies were the best thing we ordered. Not sure if we would recommend or go back, but again, the people were nice.

I don’t remember the cashiers name but she was a short black female. When I say the most patient and nice cashier I’ve ever met. She was suppurb. The food was good as well and even if it wasn’t, I would go back because of the cashier. I’m the guy that spilled the pop on the table and she came to wipe it up for me. Great customer service and great food. I will be returning

Greeted as soon as I came thru the door…. I like that. Once she finished up with the other customers, she helped my hubby and I decide what would be best to try first since we’re newbies. I ordered the Catfish Nuggets and Sweet Corn Nuggets. My hubby had the Catfish Fillets and the Nuggets and Chicken Wings. EVERYTHING was cooked fresh and EVERYTHING was good. I am very happy that we decided to give them a try. If you love fried food, then you really need to come here. They specialize in fried food…. from fried Mac n Cheese Bites to Belgian Sweet Waffles, so many things to try. We will definitely be back soon. There’s plenty of parking and plenty of indoor seating. On a busy intersection in Mableton.

Great customer service! Amazing Cat Fish Nuggets & Shrimp. Yummy Wings and Flounder! Fried Greens are the best! Finish it off with a strawberry Coconut Lemonade. 6/11. Returned for dinner: fried catfish and large shrimp, upgraded to hush puppies and corn nuggets and everything is still delicious as can be. Totally missing my fried green beans though.

This is my first negative encounter with the food from this establishment. The seafood did not appear fresh and had a frozen taste, while the fries had a strong seafood grease flavor. The unpleasant odor of bad seafood permeated the entire place, and the building could benefit from both interior and exterior renovations. The customer service was good, but other aspects of the business require improvement. I offer this feedback not as an attack on your business, but as constructive criticism. As black people, we allow other communities to conduct business in our neighborhoods, and we should expect and demand higher standards.

An overall okay experience. I ordered both shrimp and fish on my first visit. The fish was fried perfectly, I’d definitely order it again. The shrimp however were as rough as nails, so much so they were inedible. I’ve never experienced this before so I can’t say how or why this was the case.
