Went their to celebrate my mom’s birthday. We enjoyed the ambiance and the service. Ordered bhindi, mix kababs, spicy n nonspicy chicken biryani with few appetizers. Bhindi was not that impressive, and I had couple of hard okra in my mouth, their garlic naans were also kind of hard instead of soft. Mix kababas were ok but biryani was outstanding.

This is the worst Indian food I have eaten. Ordered biryani and it was so dry. It was more like fried rice. Absolutely disappointing. You can find chunks of white rice clumped together. The moment we saw so many empty tables, it was a sign something was not right but I was convincing myself to try. The place looks nice but what is the point if the food quality is so bad. The drinks were ok but the dish really ticked me off.

Get the korma it was delicious. Pappadum with chutney was also good. Service was excellent, we enjoyed the patio. Will definitely return.

We had the butter chicken curry, chicken marsala, and garlic naan. All were excellent. The place was empty except for us and another table so we were a little nervous, but were very happy in the end. I thought the prices were reasonable at around $20 per plate. Would definitely eat here again next time we are in town.

Got a take out. The entree was pretty good but the onion Bhaji was over cooked/burnt. I don’t understand why they would do that. You could clearly see they were ruined. Makes me feel they don’t care what they serve. Unfortunately, this has the highest ratings for an Indian restaurant in Scottsdale, and I won’t be going back.

If you are looking for some great Indian food, a restaurant with a beautiful ambiance, clean and tasteful decorations, friendly staff, reasonable prices and great location, then the Jewel of the crown is the place to be. We ordered several dishes they were all delicious, spiced well, fresh and well presented. They are located in the backside so you will have to walk around from the mall parking lot. I highly recommend this place.

The dining experience was good. Good food. Good service. Polite staff. Beautiful Indian Set-up. It’s a little expensive, though.

Best Indian food in the valley. We have tried many places around Phoenix and even though they were all good, this one stands out for the flavors. Been going here for 10 years.

The food is great! Though this was my first time trying Indian food, I must say that the flavor was superb! I had the butter chicken and garlic naan and was thoroughly impressed. Service was great too, I can’t remember his name but the gentleman who served us was very kind and attentive. He also made great drinks!

I’m convinced it’s 100% Authentic Gourmet Indian Cuisine. Some of the spiciest delicious Curry I’ve had. Going to be coming back to try other dishes!
