Amazing jambalaya and gumbo! Made me think I was back in New Orleans. We can’t wait for our next visit! Take the food next door to the tap house for the full experience.

The cup of gumbo I had was an absolute stand out, you just can’t really get that here in many places and I really enjoyed it. My catfish were okay, they were fried well, but I’m glad that there were several pieces of them because they were kind of small, so it did balance out. My guy wanted to get this sausage dish, but if they are busy, they might tell you that you can’t order it like they did to us. Only reason I bring it up is because he ended up getting jambalaya and that had sausage in it, so we were wondering why the other dish couldn’t be ordered. No major issues though and the prices felt fair.

Delicious Poboy, warm and comforting gumbo, but not too spicy, and fried fish is fried to perfection. Got to meet the chef absolutely love the passion and the creativity he puts into his food. The flavors are there. It’s a black business owner myself when you support other blacks, business owners in Colorado . Incredible

Had a wonderful afternoon at Max Taps where Jessie’s Smokin’ Nola was in-house. Loved the Shrimp Platter. It came out right away and was freshly made. It really hit the spot.

What a great find. This place kills it on the Cajun food, which is something that’s hard to in CO. The gumbo, jambalaya, and red beans & rice were so freaking good. Was with some friends who are from Florida and they said the food reminds them of food in Florida.

This is THE BEST Cajun food I have EVER had. I’ve been all over the world and this seafood, hands down, blows it out of the water. Highly recommend.

Jessie is super awesome, the food is fantastic. The hot sauce is a nice burn without being overwhelming. Exactly how I like it. Can’t wait to go back!

Too be honest I am from the gulf coast, and was really excited to try some home style food , but to my surprise very disappointing. The gumbo was bland as far as what I know as Cajun food . The fries overly seasoned and the shrimp poboy was good with the bread but would have been very salty solo. Poboys a bit smaller than back home as well. I am not saying I have high standards but when it comes to this type of food I would not say it lived up to expectations.

I’m a native of New Orleans myself, and eating the seafood platter here brought me back home. The catfish was cut well and the fish and shrimp were seasoned and breaded perfectly. If you want a great taste of Cajun country in Colorado, look no further.
