Needing a quick place to stop for lunch Loray Caverns, we stopped here. I had the bacon cheeseburger with peanut butter and jelly. I was taking a chance and wasn’t sure I’d like it. The server said everyone who tries it loves it. She was RIGHT! AMAZING!! Burgers don’t come with fries but you can order separately. The onion rings were really good too! Just a small town diner with excellent service and great tasting and great priced food!!

Well… 100.00 later (see the pic of the 14.00 platter) myself and my two adults kids had LUNCH… the staff was kind but wow!!! 100.00 for lunch? We had a burger and some pickle spears. We shared a small appetizer and 4 drinks. Typical diner food but not anywhere near worth 100.00!!

Great place to stop and recharge. We ordered the Gus burger, grilled cheese, mushroom swiss burger, and kids burger (my daughter wants to come back for it). Service was great, everyone very friendly. Bathroom was very clean, which is a great plus!. We’ll come back if we are in the area again.

I really enjoy going to small towns and checking out the little places to eat at. Especially over here in Virginia up in the mountains. It’s always rewarding to go in these places and visit the people. Just like this little place, Amazing service hands down. The menu was simple, And the food was absolutely delicious. Food was bland. We ordered cheeseburgers asked for them to be cooked medium, they were well done, toppings were chintzy, e.g., one pickle slice on the whole burger, there was nothing special about the buns. Maybe toasting or steaming them would have added some interest. Steak and cheese sandwich toppings were only on one side of the hoagie roll. not evenly distributed—not that big of a deal. French fries were cooked in oil that was not hot enough, they were limp, soggy fries. We also ordered a peach ice cream shake, which was good—not great, but good.

Order took forever had special chicken fried steak that taste like it was straight out of the microwave. Grandson ordered fried wings nobody mentioned that they we hot wings. Total bad experience will not return

Food is mediocre for the above average prices for very skimpy portions. Server took 10 mins just to take our drink order, never did bring out the cup of coffee, straws were missing the sanitary paper off of the ends, chicken tenders were to be (6) for the appetizer and were 3 cut in half. Window sills were dirty and flys were pesky while trying to eat. As a professional chef and restaurant manager of 17 years, this place is lucky to get 1 star. I even tipped the server 18% even though she didn’t really “earn” it. Don’t recommend!
