The portions are wild, and the food just slaps. The combo platter is amazing, but the steak shines. Get the babaganoush. Do it.

I’ve been going to Jerusalem Cafe since it first opened almost twenty years ago. The food is always excellent, fresh and masterly prepared. Everything is made to order and the pride in its preparation is evident in its presentation. This is a casual comfortable place consistently serving some of the best food in Oak Park.

Peaceful and enjoyable the food is different since it’s based on a different culture but don’t be afraid to try it, location can be a bit difficult to get to but next to a movies an in a mall area, it’s a mix of a fast food look like pickup joint. Woth restaurant quality overall still delicious I recommend any falafel

Delicious food as usual. Great service. We had a beautiful afternoon sitting on the sidewalk. Never disappointed going here. I look forward to my next visit!!!

Best chicken shawarma entrée I’ve had. Grilled veggies included with hummus. Order the green fresh hot sauce. Not too hot. Just amazing.

This is my favorite place for lunch! Me and my family love the beef shish kabob and falafel. The service is wonderful and the food is authentic middle eastern food!

Best middle eastern food I have had in a long time. I don’t usually like babaganoush, but I ate every bit of theirs. Falafel crispy and flavorful, grape leaves perfect.

Masks required indoors . Able to remove while dining in . Walk up to counter to order . And if eating in ,they will serve it to table . Appetizers , salads, sandwiches , entrees. Soda in cans or dispenser machine . Dining in and 2 separate areas . The beef shish kabob very good , beef marinated tasty. Portions not very big though . Entree comes with rice and grilled veggies , pita bread with hummus … or no rice and extra veggies for extra fee . Veggie pita sandwich available with Jerusalem salad had too much hummus and tzaziki sauce. Chicken shawarma served with rice pilaf , and grilled veggies. IMO, Shawarma is dry , and that’s what person said . Baklava available at the counter , buy single for 1.99 piece or 5 PC asst. 5.99 . Very good . Parking on street , parking lot down the street and FREE on SUNDAYS!

We order from here regularly. The food is always fresh, hot and wonderful. You can really tell that the owner and cooks care about the food they put out. For the price, the portions are more than generous. Especially since prices everywhere are going up. I’ve noticed the prices here have not gone up like others and the quality and quantity have remained consistent. Our favorite Oak Park restaurant.

Great food and super friendly service. I enjoyed the atmosphere dining outside under the large umbrellas.
