Crew was super nice. They had a shift change and managed a few people on break while I was ordering. Wasn’t busy, maybe around 5pm. Got the Large Big Kahuna!! Huge! can feed 2 people? it’s their version of a cheesesteak and it was amazing. Like a chop cheese/steak hybrid lol!

Jersey Mike’s is a solid sandwich shop, at the very top of the category for a chain. Meats and cheeses are hand sliced, so that adds a bit of time in line. My go-to is the #13, the Italian, and I get done Mike’s Way, with “the Juice,” and banana peppers. You won’t get the variety of Subway or Togo’s, but I think the sandwiches are better. Give it a try and let me know if you agree.

Having grown up on the East Coast, one thing I missed in the Bay Area was the lack of a good East Coast style sub until I found Jersey Mike’s. The best authentic East Coast sub in the Bay Area. The staff are always particularly friendly as well.

This is one of the best sandwich joints in town. There are so many options and it was very hard to decide but I settled on a regular #7 on wheat bread Mike’s way with no tomatoes. I was delighted by the food and the workers were very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was good not great. There have been some improvements since the last time I went but other than that I wouldn’t give it a perfect 5 out of 5. I would definitely eat here again and would recommend it to anyone who wants a quality sandwich.

Had to try this place, great sandwhich, except they were too giving with the oil and vinegar (it soaked my bread), otherwise gem of a place.

Have come here twice hoping to order a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and both times were unfortunately to my disappointment. The first time was a few months ago, when they were out of steak. The second time was yesterday – pulled in at 8:45PM (store closes at 9:00PM) and was instantly greeted with “we only have cold subs right now.” Apparently the kitchen (e.g. grill, etc…) closes 1 hour earlier than the store’s hours, meaning you can only order cold subs after ~8:00PM. The gentleman working the counter went on to voluntarily explain that if he were to sell me a hot sandwich, it would take him an entire hour to clean it all over again. There was no acknowledgement of the inconvenience, and the attitude was as though I (the customer) was the inconvenience for even coming in for a sub that would take them an extra hour of work. It made me wonder if when they’re out of a random ingredient, if they would proactively detail out how it’d pain them to go out of their way to a grocery market just so you can have your sandwich, instead of just saying ‘sorry, we’re out of right now. I’m not debating that the grill should not be cleaned on the clock, and did not even think of asking him to turn the grill back on, but fast food places generally close their grills after posted store hours. If workers have to turn off the lights and clock out by 9:00PM, they should update their store hours accordingly (e.g. 8:00PM) or disclose that the menu is limited after 8:00PM. If they’re closing their grills early because business is slow, this entire setup is not going to bring in more business. This was especially unfortunate as I had set my GPS for this particular location coming in all the way from Yosemite (I make the long distance drive between the Bay Area and Yosemite very often) so that I could grab a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich on my way home after a long drive. I should have stuck with the original destination (in Tracy), but figured the one in Pleasanton was closer to home, and the sandwich would stay warmer. I did not end up buying a cold sub as that was entirely not what I had detoured off the freeway to purchase. Despite my experience, I’m sure other customers who are fans of any subs would have had a positive experience coming in the middle of the day.
