The hours of operation on the door state open till 9pm. We arrived at 8:27pm. We walked in and the staff was cleaning (I get it, about to close in 30 mins and want to go home). But here’s the thing… Staff seemed irritated that my family and I wanted to eat dinner. We asked if they were open and un-reluctantly they said yes. Then they told us that their grill was closed and we can’t have any hot food. Sorry, but if you’re hours of operation are until 9pm and a customer wants something off your grill then be prepared to fire that thing up and cook them their food. Two other families came in after us wanting cheesesteaks and were turned away.

I’ve been going here for a while but got a ridiculously bad sandwich today. Jersey Mike’s is known for the amount of meat they put on their sandwich, but today was terrible. It was all bread. Take a look at the pictures for yourself. I need to find a new sandwich shop now I guess.

My boy who was making the sandwich thought he was at a subway. Genuinely the most trash experience I could ask for a Jersey Mikes. He threw mayo on the sub and didn’t spread it. I had a half glob of mayo on one side and nothing on the other.

Maybe im being old school, but the fella taking my order was either having a bad day or doesnt have manners or know his audience. I left before writing this so I cant comment on the sandwich. The fella who made my sandwich was alright…I kind of expect you sir and no sir when i go to establishments and spend my money..not a lot to ask. I say Yes sir and no sir to the staff…the fella just seemed like he didnt want to be there. I guess its probably a result of the government finally cutting off all that free welfare money (ie Covid relief). Well, welcome back to the real world of having to work is what I would like to say if that is the case. But, I am hoping he was just having a bad day. That said….I dont really get the “I am happy to be here” vibe at Jersey Mikes..at least not out Foothill Ranch location. Hopefully this changes. I like JM.

Sandwiches almost as good as a real Italian deli from Jersey, may be not . They need to get the AC working, other than that it’s an awesome JM location.

This is the worst Jersey Mike’s I’ve been to, and I’ve been to many. I always order their veggie sub with extra cheese, and I’m always charged extra money for extra cheese. No problem. The problem at this location is that extra cheese to them means a normal amount of cheese. I’m simply not OK with paying extra $ and not getting something extra. I showed the manager the sandwich and he at first defended his the employee who made it saying “there should be about 8 slices of cheese with extra cheese”. I said, “OK, count how many slices of cheese are in it”. he wouldn’t because he knew there wasn’t 8, but eventually agreed that it didn’t look like there was enough. He did add some cheese, which I appreciated, but I don’t feel like ordering a sandwich should require an inspection and remedy. For the record, even after they added my extra cheese, there was still only about half the amount of cheese that other Jersey Mike’s locations give. I know it may seem silly to complain about the amount of cheese on a sandwich, but when it’s a veggie sandwich and cheese is the only protein in it, it actually makes a big difference. In conclusion, I’d much rather avoid a battle and just go somewhere else that makes a better sandwich.

There was this dude named trey, tray trai? (not sure about the spelling) there who openly wanted to argue. I didn’t quite hear him but I kept reiterating that I wanted three giant subs. He was then quick to say I’m only cutting the bread and like ok? Sure no problem been here before. After which he asked what kind of meat? I said ill take 2 club Supremes. He prepared 3 which isn’t what I wanted but it wasn’t an issue I just asked to have a different meat on the last one. I didn’t even want them to replace the bread. Well he didn’t like that and went into a mild temperature tantrum and was visibly angry. His coworkers seemed very awkward and kept working (credit to them) regardless he wanted to argue almost and I find it in appropriate for him to be so ready to argue than be ok no problem well swap out the meat.

2nd time I go there and awful just awful customer service! Last year and this year same awful treatment. I asked for my sandwich to be warm and the Black guy that works there rolled his eyes at me and said they don’t do that there. I said, I see a grill there could you please? Only this once he said! Afterwards he didn’t spice and or oil my food and wrapped it up quickly. I went outside to sit and tasted like cardboard! I went inside and kindly asked for condemnets which He looked like he was about to hit me and snarled at me rolled his eyes and threw a bunch spices in containers. The lady behind me saw my treatment and left. My son said why didn’t they place the spices in my sandwich to begin with? I was afraid to ask for a new sandwich. They are horrible at customer service feels like he just got out of prison he treats people awfully!!

Great sandwiches, but these days I’m not sure I want my sandwich made and breathed all over by unmasked staff. Customer service is seriously lacking at this Jersey Mike’s. Blame the management.
