Cancro Special
Provolone, roast beef and pepperoni. In the summer of ’74, the Pepsi delivery man requested a curious combination of provolone, roast beef, and pepperoni. Peter Cancro’s brother, John, liked the sandwich so much, he gave it the family name and a menu spot of its own.

I regularly buy lunch at the JM in National City have been satisfied with the service.. The food is always good. Today, at about 1:50 PM I was third in line to order and the wait was over 10 min – just to order. There were at least 6 employees working, but one guy was taking orders, slicing meat, AND making sandwiche. At one point there were 5 employees sort of clustered by the register obliviously chatting and giggling while the line to order continued to grow.

Ordered online at 515pm. Did not recieve my SINGLE sandwich until 6pm. Absolutely ridiculous. No apology or explanation from the staff why it would ever take that long. Several walk in clients were served before me after having my order placed for 45 minutes. Insane.

Put an online order, got a text message that my food was ready. I showed up, they did they were working on my order. I waited and watched as they helped everyone that was in line. 10 minutes passed and I asked again about my sandwich they were “working on” they said it was still not ready, I said I got a text saying it was ready. Then she rolled her sides and just started to make my sandwich… what was the point of ordering online if I still had to wait and watch them make my sandwich after receiving a text message 20 min before saying my food was ready?and your employees don’t care… it clearly showed

Jersey Mike’s should upgrade their payment system. This location doesn’t have a working scanner when i showed my QR code from the app. This location is clean and fast with order fulfillment (I ordered our favorite #17 from the app for pickup). It’s next to many other restaurants like Pho Bo, Chipotle, Chick-fil-A, In-n-out, sushi.
