Trying to eat some delicious lunch without the added carbs. Try the sub in a tub! That’s what they call them. Pretty much you ask for any of your favorite cold subs and you tell them no bread, I want it in a tub/salad. They put all the ingredients of your sub in a bed of lettuce! Delicious! Best thing, it’s that if you don’t finish it, you don’t worry about a soggy break, you can eat it later.

They put so much oil on my sandwich, it was not edible. It was greasy and the bread was so wet and mushy. It was so obvious they put way too much oil. They should have corrected it before serving it.

Food, service, and atmosphere is great. My reason for 4 stars is this: I request that the sub rolls for my cold subs NOT be cut all the way thru before placing the ingredients inside. I prefer having the “hinge” on the back to keep the toppings from falling out. However…they refuse to accommodate. They’ve told me everything from they get in trouble if they do it that way, or they’re not allowed to do it that way, or the most recent it’s corporate policy that they cut their sub rolls all the way through for cold subs. For the amount I’m paying for their subs (which is worth it), you’d think they would accommodate the customer. Any other Jersey Mike’s I happen to go to when I’m in to their area, gladly fulfill my request WITHOUT question. But since North Lake is only about a mile from me, this is my homebase Jersey Mike’s. I have correspondence from Corporate Jersey Mike’s (email and verbal), that say it is up to the individual franchisee to make that decision, not Corporate. So I don’t understand why they are so adamant at this location about NOT butterflying (that’s what it’s called), their cold subs when requested. I even had one employee at the Northlake location tell me he got “reamed” out once by the manager for butterflying a sub for a customer. It seems as though since I am the paying customer, it wouldn’t be such a big deal. Especially when I’m dropping 20, 30, and $40 per visit, especially for their their Giant subs, you would think they would be a bit more accommodating. Otherwise, Jersey Mike’s on Northlake Boulevard is absolutely fantastic. I just wish they’d remember, it is also the little things that keep a customer. happy and coming back.

So I’m a big sub guy. I try to eat local, but if a chain is good, and worthy, I go to it. This is one of them. Serving pretty close to authentic Italian subs. Get it done Mike’s way with the red wine vinegar and oil. My only complaint is that they don’t serve 12 inch subs. It’s just an 8 inch or a large 16 inch. I have no idea why. Recommend.

I was over joyed. For this being my first time visiting Jersey Mike’s. It was a very exciting visit. The customer service was out of this world . I honestly didn’t expect that kind of service being in that location. I was really surprised. I will be going back to this restaurant and sharing my experience with everyone. I love this place.

Fast, thoughtful service. Came at lunchtime on a Thursday and expected to wait. It literally took 10 minutes to get in and out and I ordered a Philly steak and cheese which is grilled. I am convinced that if I ordered a cold sub it would have been 5 minutes less.

Veggie options are scarce. I decided to give them a go but my grilled onion and pepper wrap has little to no peppers. They don’t have spinach or any hearty toppings. Bland. Go somewhere else for veggie options, overpriced.

Delicious food. Their Philly cheesesteaks are awesome. Staff are coping with so much – like a well-oiled machine. Excellent management because the employees look like they know exactly what to do – even in such a tight space. There’s great outdoor seating too. It’s a busy place so might be an idea to order ahead. Long line but the staff don’t waste any time moving it along & it’s worth the wait.
