It is a rarity that I have a negative experience at a Jersey Mike’s, but here is one. Recently I went to this Jersey Mike’s at Kearny Commons and ordered the Ham Provolone and Cappacuolo sub. Because of time constraints, I had to take it to go. When I got home, much to my dismay, I found my sub missing the Cappacuolo. This left me with a bland Ham and Provolone sub with not much ham to begin with. If I wanted something like that, I could have just stayed home and made it myself. But with Cappacuolo (AKA gabagool) not that easy to find, it was necessary to make the trip here while I was in the vicinity. This is most disappointing.

Giving it two stars because the food is normally good. I frequent this place often but the last two times that I went the workers there were not friendly at all and acted like they didn’t want to be there. This very last time that I went there today, there was a cashier and she didn’t even say hello. There were no other customers. She then proceeded to go to the table and didn’t even look at me and said hello with a nasty attitude. There were other workers in the back who didn’t even acknowledge that I was there and were glued to their phones. There was one girl that came up and asked me what I like, again, she also didn’t greet me with a welcoming attitude. Honestly, the whole staff needs to either be fired or seriously trained because all of the workers there lately have been totally unprofessional. I’m not sure if the workers are just so unhappy but management needs to handle it before people stop coming because of the terrible attitudes or someone curses them out. I didn’t even spend my hard earned money. I said never mind and I left.

Service is always extremely friendly. Bathrooms are always very clean as well as the restaurant. Food is a bit pricey, but very delicious either way. Went in multiple times to this location and always had a good experience. Customer service is always key and these guys do it very well.

I like getting subs from Jersey Mike’s,but I will be avoiding this location since every time I order there are always issues. (i.e: Wrong bread or swapped bread tops, missing toppings, entirely wrong orders). It’s frustrating when I’ve given multiple opportunities and just end up disappointed.
