This is such a hard review to do because it is kind of like my thing with green beans, Jerry’s was the go to restaurant of my childhood, youth and adulthood. I don’t want to make this place better than it is, or hold it to an unreasonable standard of my memories of a different time and place. That being said here we go.

I worked as a server at a local Jerry’s while in high school in the 70’s. It, like most Jerry’s locations, closed about 30 years ago. I had a craving for a J Boy Plate and decided to search google. I found the very LAST Jerry’s Restaurant approx 3 hours away from my home. My sister and I are on our way to visit family and decided to take a detour of 1 1/2 hrs to check them (and a J Boy) out. It was as I remembered it…so was the cole slaw and hot fudge cake! I also took a Champ sandwich for later. We shared the appetizer sampler and she had stir fried chicken, broccoli, and fried apples. She said they were very good. Finally, my craving was taken care of! The service was top notch, too.

This was one of the top dining experiences I’ve had with my Mother that I can remember. Patience was taking care of us, she was amazing, professional, very friendly and made sure that our needs were taken care of! She checked on us so many times to see if we needed anything! The food was so delicious and served quickly and warm. The music was great! Overall atmosphere of diner was amazing! Most definitely going back soon! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are absolutely wanting the perfect dine in experience ❤️

I didn’t get any photos because I was starving and ate so quickly. Hubby and I both had the chicken salad BLT and let me tell ya..it was fantastic. We love stopping here on our way home from Ohio. It’s the only Jerry’s left and it doesn’t disappoint all the classics and some new things as well. It is very casual and the staff is always friendly. Paris is a small town and whenever we are there everyone seems to know everyone and it seems to always be a happy encounter! Looking forward to our next trip! If your looking for a snobby sit down this isn’t your place but if your looking for down home hospitality make sure you pop in!

We took a detour on our way to Lexington KY to stay for the night and found this little diner to stop at. I was hesitant at first because everyone was staring at me when I walked in. We sat down and ordered. The food came out fast and I had the best fried banana peppers I ever had in my life. Large plate full. The people next to us were very nice and welcoming as well.

Was out looking for some good old country food, stumbled upon this place on Google decided to give it a chance. Though when I got there I did not go with a typical country dish. Was not disappointed, got the mozzarella sticks which I rated a 7 out of 10. Got the Cajun Burger it was good but didn’t leave a lasting impression on me, thought the service was fantastic. Really wish I would have got one of their desserts, but I was pretty stuffed. The blackberry pie sounded fantastic. I would definitely go here again.
