The look of the place is unassuming, But with. 4.9 Google reviews, I must try it. Having lived in Korea for a good number of years, this place is really legit. I mean just with the banchan alone you’ll really get full with 12 of them. Taste is on point! This is place is famous for their soups, as the name says Tang which mean soup in Korean. So I ordered the gal bi tang-beef short ribs, perfect for the California winter weather. The receptionist is really nice and accommodating, made sure we have everything that we needed and even offered another bowl of rice, which we didn’t take as we are so full with what we ordered. Give this a try, highly recommended.

The restaurant is hidden and a little harder to find in the plaza. The interior is cozy and I liked the homey vibes. Each table has its own spotlight. Service was quick and nice. Additionally, the food was very well priced and delicious. A ton of ban chan options, decent kimchi. I liked the spicy pork bbq, tasted very savory and well seasoned. Not too oily. The Kimchijigae was delicious as well, pork isn’t dry and soup flavorful. Food came out super quickly and overall great experience.

Delicious Korean food! My mom and I ordered a seafood pancake, stone bibimbab, and bone soup with vegetables and everything was delicious! The food was served quickly and came with a wide variety of side dishes. The restaurant owners were so sweet and kind. We will definitely be back and recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants delicious authentic Korean food!

This is a true taste of Korea! They’ve been open only two weeks, and they get all the little things right. The rice quality was great, the banchan (side dishes) covered the table and tasted just like they would in the real Jeonju, Korea. Nothing was too salty or bland. They even appear to make their own soondae (blood sausage).

Update: This used to be our favorite Korean spot. They are under new management and unfortunately it’s a big step down from before. The bonchon is smaller, food is a lot more bland, and restrooms are not clean. Hopefully with time new management will figure it out.
