This place use to be on point but unfortunately tonight will be my last time visiting, ordered the 4 piece Whiting dinner a few days ago but what it looked like to me was actually 2 pieces of Whiting split in half to make 4. Portions use to be bigger. Then tonight I got the chicken tender box with some extra Whiting on the side and the Whiting was missing. I guess it’s my fault for not checking. On top of that when I arrived, I was the only customer yet the girl behind the counter stayed on her phone for about one minute surfing the web I guess, didn’t even greet me

I absolutely loved the lemon pepper wings with fried ocra! I got my food hot and fresh since it was done to order on the day I went.

Terrible food. I’m giving this at least 1 star solely because of the friendly girl in braces that took my order. Do not let the pleasant smell of fried fish, when you walk out of Comcast next door, fool you. I ordered a two piece catfish dinner, and while I was waiting on my order, another woman was there to complain that her catfish was too salty. My fried fish and fries were actually lacking salt. My hush puppies were actually very well done on the outside, maybe overdone, but the inside was raw and gummy. I love hush puppies, but these were not edible. The french fries, were also dark on the outside, but still grainy and undercooked on the inside, limp and some of the worst fries I’ve ever had. I love tartar sauce and did not care for this tartar sauce either it reminded me of loose egg salad.. I would say the fried catfish was just OK to mediocre, definitely lacked any kind of flavor.. I did not eat the coleslaw,. I was kind of scared to try it at that point . I definitely do not recommend, these guys have not been taught properly how to cook this food. Notice my teeth marks in the undercooked gummy hush puppy. Also, the smell that hit you when you walk through the front door is a stark contrast from the fried fish smell outside. It may have been an air freshener or a disinfectant, but it was unpleasant. One other thing the floor is extremely slippery so watch your step.

My grilled fish salad was amazing! The chefs did an outstanding job. My mother also enjoyed her grilled fish potato. The cashier was also very polite. Thanks!

Food nasty to me. Got chicken wings and they didn’t even cook them all the way. There was pink! The wing sauce is even nasty tasting compared to other sauces I’ve had. And they serve crinkle cut fries that look exhausted. They were hot though with no seasoning. They have some on the side you can sprinkle on them. Got a piece of catfish that was very salty and seemed it needed a few more mins in fryer, or its just the fact it’s not that authentic catfish. I asked the cashier and she wasn’t sure, but you can taste it. Chicken tenders would have been decent if the sauce was decent. Was waiting at the table for our food and the cashier came to drop off a water ice and stepped on a bug. Didn’t even pick it up in the dining area. I took the chicken back and they offered to remake it but I got a refund. It should have been done right the first time. The bathroom floor is very slippery. Small stitch in there, could use a make over, but nothing that makes you turn around right away. Won’t be going back.

Soon as I walked in about 9:15, the first thing I was greeted with was.. “ We only making Fish” … ok. & I Honestly can’t Believe how the cook was cursing the young lady out with the reddish hair(cashier). EVERYTHING was so off. The lighter cook kept Cursing out loud. Obviously he was ready to go! & My food Looked like … I WILL NOT BE BRINGING MY BUSINESS BACK HERE.

The food is consistently good and we have told several people about Jen’s and everyone agrees. The fish is so meaty and fried golden brown with just enough seasoning. The food is made to order so you may have to wait at least 20 minutes. However, the staff is attentive and gets the order right every time. Oh and the homemade tartar sauce is enough to make you return.

I ordered the whiting fish dinner. make sure you use the season they provide to put on your fish , the batter doesn’t have much flavor . It was good I wish it was fried alil longer. The hush puppies and the homemade tartar sauce had good flavor. They go offer $6.99 lunch specials and an area to dine in .

Food took about 30 minutes. Ordered fish nuggets and fish tacos. Both were very salty. Could not finish the food as the salt was unbearable. Fries were horrible. Ordered side of hush puppies which they forgot to put in my order. Didn’t realize until I got home. There were flies in the restaurant. They charge extra to use credit card but didn’t tell me before charging.
