We came to Monroe to get our truck serviced at Smiley’s and while we were in the waiting room we met a very friendly local who recommended us to Jeno’s for some good food. We decided to try it out and I’m so happy we did!! The prices were reasonable, portions were huge, and delicious! My husband got the baked spaghetti with meatballs and I got the spare rib in baked spaghetti because it intrigued me. The rib was super tender and flaked apart in the dish, it was boneless but I wouldn’t even have cared if there was a bone in it as it was amazing! They only take cash as others have already pointed out which is fine. They had it clearly marked on the window. When we come back in town we will be eating here again!!

I’m very disappointed. They messed up two of our orders (brought out two completely wrong items) and almost a third. They were very rude while we were checking out and took one item (which they forgot completely) off. Not to mention the wait times. The cook in the kitchen was very loud and unprofessional complaining about order messups, and he wasn’t wearing a net over his beard while preparing the food (very gross). I will say that there’s a very kind waitress who was in training that made the experience somewhat enjoyable. This place has gone downhill.

Food- 5 STARS!! Service – 5 Stars!! At Monroe for event at Evergreen speedway and stopped here for dinner. Food was authentic and delicious. ONLY reason 4 stars -> they don’t take debit or credit cards. Only cash. (They do have ATM on site). They need to figure that out. Times are tough and they take fees but it’s the way people pay now. I recommend eating here.

perfect little mom and pop shop from the 70s. Authentic. Small town. Greasy spoon. Mom and pop. American Italian If that’s even a thing I do it really well. Who would’ve thought of spare ribs on spaghetti. They did.

Been visiting this place for many years, usually for drinks and the place’s dimly lit, chill, mobster-esque atmosphere. But the food is pretty good too (cheesy bread w/meat sauce FTW) and incredibly affordable!

This place is very okay. I’d only order the sandwiches though cuz anything else I’ve ordered has not been very good at all. The sandwich is okay and it’s more than enough to share between two people but it’s too pricey for what you get. Definitely don’t get the meatballs.
