The collards were the best thing on my plate, the Turkey Wings were ok, but the Mac wasn’t edible for me. For one it was sitting in grease, noodles were over cooked, just tasted to mushy and wasn’t really cheesy even though it looked cheesy,also don’t think it was cooked same day but reheated probably. And the cornbread was ice cold and kinda dense that’s only way i can describe it. Don’t get me wrong, everything else was decent and I’ll try other items

Everything was pretty good! I had the Pork Chop Sandwich, Whiting Fish Sandwich, and Chicken Wings (4 Pieces). The sandwiches were pretty good and hearty, the cabbage collard mix balanced out bc the greens flavored the cabbage but l added a little sugar, the macaroni was definitely from yesterday’s service but still good lol overall l give it 4.3/5 & l would try it again!

Hmm. Not sure about this one. $9.50 for lunch (one entree, one side)… The food wasn’t bad at all. Admittedly, I thought I played it safe. I ordered meatloaf and cabbage, and tried the bread pudding. It weird when places show you the food before they bag it up lol. Like, if you’re dissatisfied they can use that against you, “you approved of it when they showed it to you”. I mean, maybe they should look at it themselves and determine if it’s up to their standards or not, if they have any, that is. But I digress lol.

First off let me say this is my third time at this place during a 9-month period. Everytime I’m came there was always something with my food. Secondly every time I’ve been here my food taste like it then warm up some two days before. Lastly I was disappointed for the third time and I will not be returning under no circumstances. However the food was not good at all. Also I ordered two pork chops rice and gravy mac and cheese and cabbage. The total came up to $50. You talkin about somebody mad oh boy oh boy I was better off going to go to golden corral. I love my black people but this is not a place I would recommend not even to my dog. You have been warned enter at your own risk!!

Good country cooking. Mac and cheese tasted home made. Plenty of cheese. String beans flavored well and firm. Potato salad tasted store brought but makes a good base if you want to fix it up to taste homemade. Corn bread is the jiffy mix kind. Baked chicken was really good. Tender and flavorful. Not salty. Disappointed in the yams. I felt like they were just warmed straight out the can. Service was great and friendly. If you eat late in the day, your selection is limited. Sales out quick. This was my first time there . My husband, a truck driver, eats there on a regular basis. Would like to try some of the other items on the menu. Would definitely go back.

Okay…I was craving soul food so went here. I had been many times before but this day was different. First of all, they were sold out of almost everything which tells you something (the food is THAT good). Secondly, the food is amazing. My favorite is the baked chicken and fish.
