Jefferson’s BBQ is one of my husband and mines favorite bbq places to get in Hot Springs since moving here in 2020. Their food is always mouth watering & the service impeccable. We hired them this summer to cater our family get together and everyone was blown away by the food! We ordered for 15 people, but it could’ve fed 30 people easily. We had so much left over that I shared with our neighbors. The catering was very easy and exactly what we wanted, and they even delivered it hot and fresh to our door for our event. Amazing service and food – give them a go for your catering needs or just for your own lunch or dinner!

Growing up in Texas I have eaten BBQ my whole life. Jefferson’s has THE best pulled pork sandwich I have ever eaten. Period.

Note that this is not a restaurant per se, it’s basically a food truck parked on the side of the road that appears to be in a semi-permanent installation. There are no places to eat anywhere. So if you want to get food it’s usually to go or to eat in your car. The portions are very generous, and the people are nice. I personally think the food is a bit hit or miss. When we went they were out of ribs and brisket so we couldn’t try those which everybody seems to rave about but we did do the pulled pork and the chopped beef sandwich. The pulled pork was good, I didn’t think it was anything special but my better half thought it was really good. I found the chopped beef sandwich to be substantive but not necessarily distinctive, it didn’t taste very smokey, pretty basic. The sauce they use is a pretty boiler plate sweet style that I think is not very distinctive. The most disappointing thing were probably the sides. Coleslaw is average. We got cheese fries that were just regular frozen fried potatoes with nacho cheese sauce poured over them, and the onion rings were also just standard industrial stuff fried with some Cajun seasoning on top of them and we’re very greasy. If you get a sandwich you’ll probably end up eating it with a fork because it’s so big and messy.

Hands down some of the best BBQ in Hot Springs. Super nice people and food with great flavor. You can tell they put their heart and soul into the food.

Very tasty BBQ sauce, pulled pork, baked beans, and cold slaw. Food was served hot with friendly service. Delicious BBQ from a food trailer and portable meat smoker approach.
