The Beef noodle soup, xiao long bao(soup dumplings) & chive pan fried dumplings were perfect and authentic. Delicious take-out-only restaurant. We were able to order and sit to eat, but there aren’t tables and servers. I’ll be back to try many more dishes.

I’ve been getting takeout here for nearly three years, and it is always delicious! Very authentic Taiwanese food that we’re lucky to have in the area. The noodle soups are especially good, as are the stir-fried noodles, fried rice, and eggplant dishes. They’re worth every penny.

Absolutely the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had the misfortune of tasting. I gave them the benefit of the doubt as I walked past rat traps surrounding the perimeter of the restaurant. Due to all of the construction, Newton is infested. However, I won’t forgive the fact that Jean and Lee use days old brown and white rice mixed with a couple of frozen peas and carrots for the vegetarian fried rice. The rice was hard and chewy, like old rice gets. The garlic sauce on my eggplant was congealed and smelled like garbage, literally. After a bite of old rice my lunch ended up in the trash. Now I’m hangry and hoping to spare anyone who reads this the same disappointment. Is fresh rice really too much to ask for at a Chinese place?

Get it! Eat there! Everything was amazing. This is by far the best spot around. Yes we ate on the floor cuz it was moving day. Spicy beef soup was fantastic. Soup dumplings a must. Spicy popcorn chicken (not sure the name of the dish) was recommended to us and did not disappoint. Owner is lovely 10/10

Pretty delicious Taiwanese food here. The quality of the food has definitely gotten better in the past few months. Their food has gotten tremendously better and Alvin is super nice to everybody who comes in. I frequent this place with the family, and do take-out sometimes.

Takeout quality with restaurants price. Take out only at this time. Spent $100+ for 4 people — Soggy Sichuan popcorn chicken, beef noodle with 4 pieces meat. Guess the restaurant will close soon.

We love Jean and Lee, have been ordering here for years. The food is reliably delicious and ready quickly. Favorites include eggplant with basil and string beans with ginger and beef. Not to mention the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

10/10. We stumbled across the area and found this Taiwanese place. Local owners and food is prepared with great effort and most importantly – taste authentic and delicious! Will come around again when back into area. A must visit.
