Ordered a chicken blt with no tomato that’s supposed to be on toast instead it was on a bun, had way too much mixed greens (lettuce) & an entire 1 single piece of bacon. Plus fries were under cooked. Also got a regular blt that was made right so idk what issue was but I’m certainly not happy with food I got

We’ve eaten here twice. Once inside, and once for take out. Food was good. I had the half chicken with broccoli and slaw which was delicious. Partner had a burger and fries, he liked it. He mentioned when he went to take out that one of the employees accidently gave someone else our food or something so he had to wait for it to be made again, and they compted one of the meals. Apparently the manager or some other employees yelled at the other about it in front of my partner about the mix up, it was very unprofessional. That was an awful experience for him to see that happening there. He waited a little longer to get out food and they gave it to him promptly, but he probably won’t be back anytime soon.

Most of the main entrees are written on the chalkboards all around the dining area, which is great to change things up from the menu quickly,, but overwhelming. The flavor of the whiskey bbq sauce was outstanding, but the ribs and chicken out was on were very dry. The all you can eat shrimp and fish (tilapia) was well worth the $12.99! Lots of space and full of potential! We will try again and see if the food is better next month.

This was a first try. Food was good, on the plain side. The restaurant was quite chilly inside. But it was very early and empty. I have passed by many times and seen the parking lot packed. My guess it warms up quickly then! Service was terrific!

Went there for a birthday party. They were very good. The waitress was totally efficient and helpful and friendly. Food was great. Prices were fantastic.

Visited J & D;s on a Friday. The place was 1/3 full. We were seated and able to order drink straight away. In 10 minutes we had our food. Friday is their $10 all you can eat fish meal. The fish is sea bass, not cod, but wasn’t bad, and one can order it four different ways. Re-fills on fish came hot and within minutes of asking for them. Our waitress was very motivated and quick to take care of her clients. In looking at 2020 Illinois new laws, I see no child changing station has been added to the men’s restroom, and there’s really no place them to put one up unless they do it in the handicap toilet stall. I will definitely come back again and try a different night with a different special.

I got a loaded grilled cheese and the cheese wasn’t melted and it didn’t really have any seasoning. It seems like more a bar than restaurant, their menu was reasonably priced.
