Edit: I just tried the chili and it was bland and was mostly grease. I even tried putting crackers and cheese but didn’t help. What a waste of $17 plus tax.

First time here In from Indiana I had lunch here. The pricing is decent and the food was good. I don’t like the fact that they don’t wear masks while fixing food. The workers were sneezing and coughing, and I think they need a tray return.

I ate here for the first time on 8/8/2022. I ordered the James cheeseburger combo with French fries. I asked for my food to be made fresh and my fries were served hot. The employee working the window was nice.

They is my guilty pleasure. My cheat day. My greedy girl side. The food is so good. Best Chilli and the onion rings were crispy. This is my first time trying the gourmet dogs. My only complaint is the sweet BUN. Not for me. Otherwise delicious per usual.

Went for their 100th anniversary. They had their prices set to what it was 100 years ago. As well as the items. It was awesome and amazing how it has been that long. Learning the history of the place and all the awesome people that work there.

Miss them in my area. They changed the chili recipe but are still kind of good. Hard to find a good hot dog place since they closed most of theirs. There was a good one in the Heights, but they moved to the Austin area.

Went in on 06/25/23. Order the Walker Street all the way with chili and cheese on the fries. When that order came out, I got everything, but the chili and cheese on the fries and was told I didnt order that way even though it was on the receipt.

The Chicago dog they have is pretty legit. The chili cheese coney is tasty but, having lived in Michigan for many years (the home place of the coney), it definitely isn’t a real coney. Prices are a bit steep too. I tried ordering a Seattle style hotdog but found out they didn’t have it on the menu anymore so that was disappointing.
