Slid in through to try it out for an early birthday lunch. We had some spring rolls, sushi, bacon wrapped scallops and seafood soup.

I’ve had decent food from Jasmine on 30th but this was closer so i gave it a try. Sadly the sushi dinner was quite small. Weirdly they skimped on the rice balls which weren’t much bigger than my index finger tip. I got the equivalent of a $12.99 super market sushi dinner for $25… and the rest of the Seafood Udon soup was just as disappointing without flavor. i will say the sushi and noodles were fresh but it seemed slapped together and was not worth the price.

Finally got to try this place for my friends birthday dinner. I gave it a full 5 stars because we truly didn’t have any problems. Service was great, food and drinks were good. I just personally feel like there are places that are better for less money.

This was my first time trying this location. I typically order from the 30th street location, but their phone kept ringing busy. I thought “it’s the same restaurant, the food will be the same.” WRONG! A couple of us ordered general Taos, in which I asked for extra spicy. The other order was to be not spicy. They labeled the containers, which was great. However, upon trying both orders, it was impossible to distinguish between the two. There was absolutely ZERO flavor to either dish and they were outrageously greasy (there was almost an inch of this thin, oily horrendous “sauce” in the container). It tasted like nothing but left a film inside your mouth. The white rice tasted like it was made in a rice cooker that was cleaned with dirty water. Something was unpleasantly pungent about it. For the amount of money that this place charges, it’s appalling. I ended up making myself a PB&J for dinner instead. These are unacceptable and avoidable mistakes. After this experience, I’m not quite sure I will ever order from the one on 30th either. It’s a shame and entirely a waste of money.

The food was delicious and it was a nice sunny day. Love the outdoor seating. We ordered the lunch bento boxe and iced tea. Both were delicious. Pics below

On a slow Monday evening, on a $180 three-person dine-in meal, we got two flat sodas (before the server admitted their CO2 was bad), food brought out late and at different times, the side of Sriracha sauce we ordered was a gross ketchup sauce that the server argued was “the new style” (whatever that means), and then they had the audacity to upcharge us $3 for some extra wasabi! And we got a huge dose of fake-nice service and mediocre sushi. I’ve been to both locations several times and spent good money. Never again. Congrats on losing customers. I hope that $3 wasabi upcharge was worth the bad review and the thousands of dollars I’ll now spend at your competitors.

Wanted to like, based on dining companions’ recommendation. They loved their sushi. I did NOT love my General Tso’s chicken. First of all, it took nearly an hour and the place was not crowded. Secondly, it wasn’t spicy at all, tasted more like barbeque sauce. Thirdly, the first bite was all gristly and I spit it into my napkin. Same with the second bite, had to spit it out. Guys – I can get better at StirFry 88 in the mall. Our server exchanged my dish for sweet n sour chicken, again – nothing different than I’d get at the mall. It’s simply not worth the wait nor money. Three stars because my friends enjoyed their sushi and said it was great. Sushi is clearly what they are good at. 🙂 Strangely, this review does not show up unless I’m logged in. ???

This was my first visit to Jasmine’s and I look forward to going back. They were very careful with my shellfish allergy and told me the egg rolls contained shrimp. Their wonton soup was the best I’ve had with very fresh wontons in a delicious broth.

We ate here for our valentine’s dinner. The service was fine. The food? Not so much. We ordered calamari for our appetizer. It was really tough and hard chewing it. I ordered the seafood basket. For the price skip this dish. It wasn’t good. The lobster was tiny and not very tasty. I wasn’t expecting a huge lobster tail, but the size was just laughable. The shrimp was good and that was about it. It came with a side of fried rice. Well, it was basically white rice soaked in soy sauce. After digging into it, I found two peas and a piece of carrot. Fried rice is supposed to have a lot more peas, carrots, onions and egg in it. This was also laughable. I also ordered a beer. It came in a can. It was almost room temperature. Not cold at all. For the amount they charge for entrees? I will not eat here again.
