While not the fault of the waitress, we thought our last dining experience was bizarre. Very little ice available for our tea and water. When we asked for plates for our appetizer, the waitress said she could bring us 3 plates ( there were 8 of us). We dined at 6pm…so not an odd time. The food was great. But the lack of certain items and lengthy wait for refills was less than expected from this fine establishment.

The sushi was good, the service was not. While our waitress deserves the brunt of the criticism, there is no doubt management is complicit in the deficiencies. It’s clear that there is no sense of team among the wait staff. If the wait staff only realized that their extra effort to help a colleague would increase tips and improve the customer experience, everyone would benefit. Overall, this is a decent option for sushi in the area.

I have never eaten a sketchy piece of sushi here. The staff are so nice and polite. The food always tastes fresh and everything is always clean. Anything not great with seafood really bothers me so when a restaurant gets it right, I like to stick with it. If they offered a reward program, I’d be a platinum cardholder already.

It was 2:30pm, late all-you-can-eat lunch. Food was fine but the worst service I’ve had in a long time!! Friend asked for extra wasabi/ginger she forgot it. Never apologized. Never came to check on us. We had to flag some else down every time! My friend is VERY Patient but even he got up to TRACK her down!

Japan Inn has stepped it up. The buy one get one free sushi menu is a great deal. The drinks were good. The place is always clean. The staff are nice. You won’t be disappointed.
