Finally got the chance to visit this spot and let’s just say I was very impressed. We tried everything for our YouTube channel. This is a family owned spot and they are keeping up with the bigger franchises. The food was fresh, hot, and flavorful. The owner was very friendly and I loved the music. So we just moved from San Antonio to Chicago and wanted to try something different. This place is a express restaurant so don’t expect full restaurant service nonetheless the food was great. Ordered beef patties and although they were good they were microwaved and soft instead of crispy but still good. The jerk chicken was moist and flavorful and the rice was fantastic. Great place for a quick meal, great music and super clean. Just understand that it’s an express restaurant.

Had to delete my old review just to post this today my mom surprised me with jerk from here not knowing this is the place I gave a 1 star before & a yr later even worser. This place was okay.. I really wanted to like it & was excited based on the reviews, but I was a bit disappointed. You can see from the pics the Mac & cheese was a bit dry and looked like it’d been sitting out. The chicken was okay.. it lacked the real jerk flavor I’m used to, but it was juicy. The rice & peas were okay. The ‘candied yams’ were like cut up baked sweet potatoes & honestly were the best thing I tasted and they weren’t all that either. The restaurant is very clean though and nice music while you wait. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but it wasn’t worth a return for me.

Best Jerk Chicken I’ve had, the food is beyond amazing and delicious and their customer service is excellent. Someone greets you when you come in to order or pick up your food. Everything from the Jerk chicken , Jerk chicken Alfredo and all the side dishes are delicious. I’ve been eating here since they opened and will continue to as their food is so yummy !!

6-24-23 Today I went in and got a dark chicken meal with all cabbage. I was highly disappointed with my chicken. The chicken was dry, dark meat is usually juice and tender. This was day old chicken. I recommend you check your food before you leave.

Food wasn’t tasting like it was made by real “JAMAICAN” at all.! The rice was tasting like the had went right over to save-a-lot and save a lot of money on a box of red beans n rice.!
